Nice outside shot from behind the arc, takes care of the basketball, and is playing with much better control going to the rim. Keep your eyes on this one! (Below, shooting)
Gigi Bower Gigi Bower 5'9" | SF Olentangy Liberty | 2024 State OH – 2024, 5’9, Olentangy Liberty: The shooting clinic that Bower put on was pretty insane! Her touch from deep, on top of her swift moves to the basket couldn’t be stopped! Gigi’s cross-over dribble gives her that initial moment of freedom that allows for open looks! Look for this young lady to have another strong year- and she’ll be wearing green and white for the Ohio University Bobcats next season! (Below shooting)
Komara Sylvester Komara Sylvester 5'6" | CG Toledo Start | 2024 OH – 2024, 5’6, Toledo Start: I absolutely love Sylvester’s handles! She plays with control, and definitely has a few moves in her pocket to choose from! No problem shooting from outside, but how she can 1v1 against anyone and go to the bucket is her bread and butter! Quick feet on D! (Below with ball)
Mackenzie Blackford Mackenzie Blackford 5'7" | SF Solon | 2024 State OH – 2024, 5’8, Solon: Wow!! Not sure where to begin! Blackford, who has committed to Duquesne, has a magic to her game that is beautiful to watch! Mackenzie’s swift moves both with and without the ball are flat out difficult to contain. And as for her shooting- she’s a walking bucket, from any location! Tough guard with a whole different level of game! (Below with ball, and Featured Photo)
Nina Sims- 2025, 5’10, Toledo Notre Dame: I really like Sims overall game! She battles for boards, and more than holds her own with her athleticism, strength and size inside. Great job coming off of screens, and freeing herself up for outside shots! This lefty is ready to launch it! (Below with ball)
Cheyanne Chupp- 2024, 6’0, Waynedale: Chupp is so versatile! She can go left or right, has outstanding footwork both in the paint and on the block. Love how she knows when to kick the ball out to the guards. She plays such a key role for Waynedale. Strong rebounder, blocker, and without question can play at the next level!
