Here I look at a few of the standouts from this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='205640' first='Jocelyn' last='Michelle Chavez'] Valley Vista

Chavez was playing on another level as her game continues to progress. Her scoring as always was there when she needed it, but it was her passing that had your attention. She hit multiple teammates for wide open looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='655631' first='Carmella' last='Gallardo'] Seton Catholic

Hampered by foul early foul trouble, Carmella still led the team in scoring and played a good floor game. She knows how to move without the ball and when she was squared up to the rim it was almost automatic.

[player_tooltip player_id='602888' first='Jada' last='Wilson'] Valley Vista

Wilson might have been the most impressive player in the game and it wasn't because of scoring. Despite fouling out midway through the 4th quarter, she still had 9 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals. She gave the Monsoon that X factor in that she didn't need the ball offensively to be productive.

[player_tooltip player_id='660337' first='Sophie' last='Morales'] Seton Catholic

Morales was another player hampered with foul trouble. When she was on the court, she was at her normal pace applying pressure on the defense and creating for her teammates. Valley Vista couldn't really press Seton when she was in because she could easily break it by herself.

[player_tooltip player_id='586382' first='Emma' last='Dasovich'] Valley Vista

Emma displayed her full game against Seton. She got excellent post position and commanded double teams. She also stepped out and showed her range on her jump shot. She was also very active on the boards almost coming away with a double double.
