Tuesday saw a bit of everything in the Garden State, all of which we’ll be doing our best to encapsulate below with our Tuesday Standouts.
Camden Epstein Camden Epstein 5'10" | CG Ramapo | 2026 State NJ – Ramapo (2026)
Anytime you hit a game-winner, you immediately deserve to be on this list, and Epstein did so against a big time opponent in Teaneck. Down 53-51, Epstein found just enough space behind the arc to hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer for a 54-53 win, capping off an impressive 24-point night for her. Her first two 20-point games have come in the first three games of this season.
Julia Zimmerman – Holy Cross Prep (2025)
The first three games of Zimmerman’s junior year with HCP have been impressive so far, averaging around 17 PPG. However, her performance on Tuesday was a history-making one as she hit her 100th career three-pointer in a 50-18 win over Medford Tech. Zimmerman finished with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and four steals, and is averaging 3 three-pointers a game this season.
Amanda Baylock Amanda Baylock 5'6" | PG Scotch Plains-Fanwood | 2024 State NJ – Scotch Plains-Fanwood (2024)
For the first time in nine years, Scotch Plains-Fanwood took down Westfield, a 15-point win for the Raiders, and leading the charge was the senior standout Baylock. Coming off a season-opening 32-point performance, Baylock finished with 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals, showing out against a recent state champion.
Ava Aldarelli Ava Aldarelli 5'6" | CG Robbinsville | 2026 State NJ – Robbinsville (2026)
This might be the first time we’ve talked about Aldarelli in quite a bit, and she deservedly earned her way into the conversation on Tuesday. The forward recorded a monster 28-point, 15-rebound double-double against West Windsor-Plainsboro North, racking up seven steals in the process. Robbinsville came out with a loss, but this is now two 20-point double-doubles for Aldarelli this season.
Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 5'11" | SF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2026 State NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas (2026)
Have a night, a career night at that for STA sophomore forward Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 5'11" | SF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2026 State NJ . Her fourth career double-double saw her score a career-high 25 points in a 70-51 win over south Brunswick. Barnes also added a season-high three blocks to the mix, a really impressive performance overall as she solidifies herself as a premier forward in the Class of 2026.
Kahmiyah Napier Kahmiyah Napier PG Newark Eastside | 2024 State NJ – Newark East Side (2024)
Napier might have the single-game scoring high in New Jersey in the early going this season as she put up a career-high 41 points in East Side’s 38-point win over Newark Tech. It’s her third-straight double-double to begin the season, adding on five assists, three steals and four three-pointers. She now has a streak of six-straight double-doubles dating back to the end of last season.
Lia Manuel Lia Manuel 5'7" | PG Mendham | 2024 State NJ – Mendham (2024)
It’s been quite the journey to get to this point for the senior guard for Mendham, but on Tuesday, Manuel joined an elite group as she recorded her 1000th career point in high school. Not only did Mendham dominate Morris Knolls with a 49-34 win, but Manuel stayed dominant, scoring 17 points on the night as she’s now averaging just a shade under 22 points a game this season.
Julia Lewis Julia Lewis 5'8" | SG Cherry Hill West | 2025 State NJ – Cherry Hill West (2024)
Cherry Hill West’s losing streak against Lenape was one that has stretched back at least 15 years, if not more, but on Tuesday, that historic skid came to an end with a 43-41 win. Lewis was at the center of that, scoring a game-high 16 points, shooting 8-of-11 from the line as well. She’s averaging 15 PPG through her first three games of the season.
