No. 6: [player_tooltip player_id='325217' first='Julia' last='Karpell'] - St. John Vianney (No. 15 overall)

St. John Vianney senior [player_tooltip player_id='325217' first='Julia' last='Karpell'] just misses out on the top five shooting guards in the senior class, but finds herself inside the top 15 following what has been a fantastic career so far for her. She's one of the prime examples that we can find when it comes to a pure shooter, a specialized shooter that does her job incredibly well. The shooting is definitely a large part of her game, but she's really improved as a passer and as a defender, doing more and more to round out her game on one of the best teams in the state.

No. 7: [player_tooltip player_id='325216' first='Zeynep' last='Ozel'] - Blair (No. 16 overall)

Ozel just committed to playing at the next level and she's certainly one of the best non-public players that we've seen in this senior class for a reason. She already showcased it in her first game of the season in late November, knocking down four threes for an 18-point performance. However, her prowess on the court goes far beyond her shooting, making incredible strides as a facilitator, which has added an other dimension to her game. With the floor spread out offensively, she can just about go and do anything.

No. 8: [player_tooltip player_id='488637' first='Shariah' last='Baynes'] - Paul VI (No. 18 overall)

Baynes is one of the most well-rounded senior shooting guards that we've seen out of New Jersey, and playing behind such a force of a talent in Hannah Hidalgo allowed her to work out improving all facets of her game. Now is the time for her to step up into that big time role as a senior for the Eagles, and she's shown more than enough ability to do so, a shifty guard, quick with the ball and quick to create plays. Her off-ball movement has really helped out in pushing her to the next level just as much.

No. 9: [player_tooltip player_id='325183' first='Dagny' last='Slomack'] - Newark Academy (No. 26 overall)

Watching her on film, her first step is very effective, often times catching opponents off-guard as she drives to the basket, potentially spinning off a defender in the process to get to the rim, or stops and pulls up from deep. Her quick release makes her a prime candidate to utilize in catch-and-shoot situations in fast break situations. if she doesn't have the ball, she's moving around, looking for that quick opening and easy scoring opportunity. That same split-second decision-making has had the same effects with her defensive success.

No. 10: [player_tooltip player_id='588094' first='Anna' last='O'Keefe'] - Lawrenceville (No. 34 overall)

It's a little bit of everything that has made O'Keefe a successful player throughout her high school career. We can point out things like court vision and awareness, something that has come into play when she dishes off a pass to an open teammate or finds a lane into the paint to get a big rebound. O'Keefe has certainly worked on boxing out in the paint, but her energy is what makes the big difference in keeping a possession alive or creating a big scoring opportunity the other way.
