<p>A nice bounce back win for the Hawks, who were in control from start to finish. Maintaining a double-digit lead from the midway point of the 1st quarter onward.</p>

<p>Volcano pushed the tempo, getting plenty of transition opportunities and open looks. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='391323' first='Mila' last='Espinoza'] had a team high 22 points and was on fire from deep. Espinoza had 4 made 3s on the night including 3 within the first eight minutes of action. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='357657' first='Taejhuan' last='Hill'] was dominate inside the paint, finishing with 19 points. [player_tooltip player_id='560959' first='Faith' last='Ortiz'] chipped in with 11 points while [player_tooltip player_id='412420' first='Lilliana' last='Duncan'] had 10.</p>

<p>For the Eagles, it was a subpar night offensively as Eldorado struggled initiating offense. CG [player_tooltip player_id='370329' first='Bella' last='Hines'] put up a game high 25 points — 6 made 3s — despite being in foul trouble the entire game. Senior Chioma Holyfield was very impressive, battling in the lane on both ends of the floor. Holyfield had 15 points, displaying a nice turn around baseline jumper on several occasions.</p>
