After watching Tecumseh last week it was very apparent that Russell is going to have to do a lot for this team to be consistently successful both scoring and distributing. One good thing she does if she gets her teammates involved because she is unselfish but scores when given the opportunity. She has good body control on penetration to the rim. Smart player who is able to push tempo. Her game has really elevated!
For a freshman, Giana is pretty poised and able to complete the drive to the rim and finish strong. Good active hands and a good basketball IQ. She made our freshman preseason watchlist, and she proved that she belongs. Good quality young player with a bright future. Her key is to continue to challenge herself against better players.

Time will tell how good London can become, but she is so incredibly athletic and displayed a good skillset when I saw her last week. She will be the first to admit that she has a lot of work to do to continue to grow her game. One of the best pure athletes likely in this class in Ohio. She has good length and is able to create for herself well. Pick and pop player. Very active at the rim, great offensive rebounder.
Mya was impressive when I saw her Saturday at Versailles. Right away, I saw her display a nice pull up jumper with range. She was able to step outside the arc and knock down shots. She does a good job moving well without the ball and gets into position to score. As her game continues to grow, I expect her to be a big factor for the Flyers, a traditionally strong program. One to keep an eye on.
Another year older, Katey’s game continues to improve. She is a smart heady player with a good basketball IQ and the court sense to make the right play. Not only did she contribute as a freshman last season, but her game has grown and she has a solid euro around the rim, able to finish well with either hand. Solid handles and an aggressive defender. She plays hard all the time and makes things happen for her team.
