Most of these players are underclassmen which speaks to the state of basketball in the north Florida area.
Alaysha Williams Alaysha Williams 5'6" | SG Ed White | 2025 State FL was impressive last week versus St Johns Country Day. The shooting guard does a good job of getting to the rim and also playing in transition. Williams applies great pressure on the ball in man to man defense and when she is in the press. Williams plays on both sides of the court, leading her team with nearly 6 assists and 6 steals per game. Williams was a standout at the recent PGH Expo event and continues to play well this hjigh school season.
Esa Brenneman Esa Brenneman 5'6" | PG Bartram | 2027 State FL was very impressive during her matchup against Creeekside last week. The young guard got down-hill all game long and showed a lot of athleticism in the process. Brenneman impressed with her ability to make plays off the dribble and occasionally off the catch. She was a standout in the transition game also and was just a step ahead of the defense.
Olivia Gamble Olivia Gamble 5'4" | SG Mandarin HS | 2026 State FL was very impressive last week and really shot the three well, scoring 26 points in the process. Gamble shot the three well off of the catch and also shot it well off of the dribble. Gamble also showed improved ball handling skills and was able to get inside the arc for some nice pull up midrange shots.
Evelyn Freeman Evelyn Freeman 5'8" | PG Bolles | 2026 State FL put in the work last week, scoring 19 points on 8 of 13 shooting. Freeman sets the pace for Bolles’ offense and can create shots for herself and for her teammates with her down hill speed. Freeman is one of the top young guards in the State of Florida. The young guard also puts the work in on the defensive side where she plays suffocating defense and forces a lot of turnovers.
Presley Norman had an 18 point – 5 assist performance last week Presley is very consistent scorer for a young player and finds herself in double digit scoring quite often. She can run the offense from the point position and can also play the shooting guard position effectively as well.
Asiana McCreary Asiana McCreary 6'1" | SF Bartram | 2027 State FL put in a 12 point game versus Oakleaf. The Freshman forward is versatile and can play in the paint and also move out on the perimeter and knock down the jumper. McCreary is also a really good rebounder and can mix it up on the inside. With her length and size, she runs the lane very well and is very impressive and imposing on the break.
