As the 2023-2024 season reaches the midpoint, a variety of showcases and tournaments are ongoing. In a couple of weeks, conference seasons will wind down, and teams will begin preparing for their 2024 state tournament run. After expanding the 2024 rankings list to a Top-125 and a watch list of another 125 prospects, we are now at 250 total 2024 prospects listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. Our March update will mark the final time the Class of 2024 will be updated, but in the meantime, I wanted to highlight all of the small forwards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as point out some newcomers and those who have raised their stock since the beginning of the season.

She is strong and compact, and she has a nice overall feel for the game.

, 2024, 5-9 SF, Paoli H.S.
– Carley is long, athletic, and versatile. She has gained a lot of touches following significant 2023 graduation losses, and she’s now averaging 18.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. She is more of a slasher than a shooter, but she plays with a motor and has a nose for the ball.

Eminence | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-9 SF, Eminence H.S.
– Natalie is another long, versatile athlete who can contribute in a number of ways for her team(s). She is also more of a slasher but can knock down an open jumper, she is a nice pursuing rebounder, and she can defend multiple positions. She is currently averaging 10.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
Jolie Johns

Johns
5'9" | SF
New Prairie | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-9 SF/SG, New Prairie H.S.
– Jolie is an under-the-radar talent in Northern Indiana, and she has the upside to make a major impact at an elite small college. She has nice length, a wiry strength, and athleticism. She can act as a point forward or consistently bury shots from the perimeter, plus she can defend multiple positions.
Zoe Lawless

Lawless
5'10" | SF
Hamilton Southeastern | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-10 SF, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
– Zoe has worked hard on her game and finally gotten her turn this season on a deep and talented HSE roster. She has nice length, she’s a fluid athlete, and she can play around the perimeter or in the mid-post. Additionally, she can defend undersized ‘4s’, or step out and take on wings and bigger ‘2s’.
Reagan Lorenzen

Lorenzen
5'6" | SF
Westfield | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-6 SF, Westfield H.S.
– Reagan is a broad-shouldered, strong wing who always competes. She can be a bit streaky at times, but when she catches fire, she can rip off six or seven 3-pointers at a time. She is a nice one-directional athlete who can get downhill, and she is willing to defend and rebound against bigger players.
Alilyona McKeller

(above). Alilyona has nice length, speed & quickness, and she is willing to battle bigger players inside or step out and even play almost a guard’s role defensively.
Brynlee Perkins
Brynlee
Perkins
5'10" | SF
North Daviess | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-10 SF, North Daviess H.S.
– I haven’t seen Brynlee in a couple of years, and she transferred into North Daviess from Eastern Greene last season. She has always been a long, wiry, fluid, and almost smooth athlete. She is great knifing to the basket, but she also shows some touch around the perimeter and the ability to handle it some.
Samantha Redinger
Samantha

5'7" | SF
Argos | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-7 SF/SG, Argos Community H.S.
– Samantha has posted huge numbers this Winter, averaging 29.8 points through 14 games, she has scored 50, 47, and in the 30s seven more times, with only three games under 20 (11, 19, & 19). She is strong, broad-shouldered, effortful, and she possesses one of the prettiest lefty jump-shots you will see.
Emma Schipp
Emma
Schipp
5'10" | SF
Jasper | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-10 SF, Jasper H.S.
– I feel like I’m on a loop with several of these kids, but Emma is another nice-sized, wiry-strong, versatile wing player. She has touch outside, can attack the basket as well, and she has worked on her handle and improved each year. With continued work, she can become an elite small college prospect.
Taylor Turk
Taylor
Turk
5'8" | SF
Roncalli | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-8 SF, Roncalli H.S.
– Taylor has been a Varsity regular at Roncalli for years, and she does whatever she can to help her team win. She has a wiry-strong frame, solid North/South athleticism, and she plays with a motor. She can handle it a little, shoot it a little, attack, plus she defends multiple positions and rebounds.
Kayleigh Turner

Western | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-8 SF/PF, Western H.S.
– Kayleigh is a very intriguing small college prospect, who again does a little of everything. She has nice length, wiry strength, she’s athletic in most directions, and she plays with a motor. She can battle inside, rebound, and defend. She can also stick a 3-pointer or attack the basket off the dribble.
Kierra Wilson
Kierra
Wilson
5'9" | SF
Wabash | 2024
IN
, 2024, 5-9 SF, Wabash H.S.
– Kierra is a solid, steady, hard-working wing. She has some athleticism and a wiry-strong frame, she can put it on the floor, knock down an open jumper, and she understands how to play. Defensively, she’s probably best on undersized 4s and bigger wings. She’s averaging 11.0 points per game this season.

WINTER STOCK-RISERS:
Denyha Jacobs
Denyha
Jacobs
5'7" | SF
Warren Central | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-7 SF, Warren Central H.S.
– Denyha began her career at Lawrence Central, playing immediately as a Freshman. But she has spent the last couple of seasons greatly affecting the Varsity team at Warren Central. She is a strong, physical wing player with a deceptive first step and nice all-around skill. She can handle it like a guard and she sees the floor well. She can knock down the occasional outside jumper, but I really like watching her attack the basket and use her strength to her advantage.
Madison Jobe
Madison
Jobe
5'9" | SF
Purdue Polytechnic | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-9 SF/SG, Purdue Polytechnic H.S.
– Madison hit my radar in September, and she has continued to grow her game. She is extremely long and wiry, and strength gain will be a must for the next level. However, she has beautiful touch on her jump-shot, and with range to about 27-feet. Additionally, she can see the floor, she handles it well in transition, and she has a nice overall feel for the game and a confidence in her approach. She recently committed to Illinois Central College.
Ava Shoemaker
Ava
Shoemaker
5'9" | SF
Noblesville | 2024
State
IN
, 2024, 5-9 SF, Noblesville H.S.
– Ava has developed into one of the better shooters in the state, regardless of class. She has an athletically strong frame, she moves well in most directions, and she plays with a great motor. She does a nice job of finding space and moving without the ball, and when she gets it, she has a fairly quick release. But she isn’t limited to just shooting, as she can attack the basket and finish through contact. She’s also a willing and capable defender/rebounder.
