1st Team Guard: There is not much to say here: she is simply one of the best players in the country. The Clemson signee averages 25.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 4.2 steals for the unbeaten Lady Wildcats (15-0). I cannot wait to see her play in the Glass House (assuming that’s how it plays out…).
1st Team Wing: The junior guard is on path to break most every scoring mark there is at Brentwood. Brentwood has came out and looked terrific this year, in part due to the high scoring prowlness of Ryan. The shooting guard is averaging 24 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals. She has offers from Quinnipiac, Mercer, Samford, Furman, Northern KY, LaSalle, and Wofford.
1st Team 6th Man: Weathers is a joy to watch, as she plays with passion that is hard to describe. She’s worked on her game to develop into a true 3 level scorer, and has her Loretto team sitting at 15-1, ready to make big noise in the post season. Weathers averages 18.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and four assists. She surpassed the 1,000-point career mark this season.
1st Team Guard: Beaty has turned things up a notch this season, as we’ve seen an uptick in her scoring averages. The Clemson committ averages 20.4 points on 40.9% shooting from 3-point range and 82.6% from the foul line. She also averages 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals for York (12-3). She had a 40 point game earlier this season, and you have to think she could average 25-30 if she really tried.
1st Team Post: The returning Class 1A Miss Basketball winner is averaging 17.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.1 blocks, while shooting 57% from the field and 83% from the foul line. Her Division I offers include Chattanooga, Lipscomb, MTSU, Southern Miss, Belmont, & Appalachian State. She’s in line to bring home both Miss Basketball and perhaps a state championship.
1st Team 7th Man: The senior from Sycamore HS, and UTC commit, has put together a terric senior year. She is averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. She has the type of college ready game, with a diverse skill set, that should enable her to really flourish at the college level. She’s an ultimate competitor.
