Crawford is an UNSIGNED SENIOR point guard. De’Ashaj has good court awareness and really can get the ball into the gaps and the pain at will. She knows how to use her left-hand very effectively to finish plays. Crawford is quick end to end on the floor with the ball in her hands. De’Ashaj rebounds the ball very well from her position on the floor and really likes to play in atack mode. Crawford finished with 13 points in a win over Ross HS (OH) today.
Geathers-Washington a UNSIGNED SENIOR came up big late in the game vs Kingstree HS. Jerchel made a last second bucket to tie the game and force into overtime. She would finish the night with 14 points and 5 rebounds in the Lady Bears win over the Lady Blazers. Geathers-Washington is at her best when she stays inside the paint and battles on the glass.
Highlights
Owens an UNSIGNED SENIOR really came out on fire today for the Lady Saints. Grace made several three-pointers while her squad coasted to a victory. Owens made some heady passes along the way to open teammates for easy looks. Grace finished with 26 points in the win today.
Can the Lady Saints be a team that makes a run late into the season in SCISA Class 3A this coming season?
Stevenson really brings some shifty ball-handling skills to the backcourt for the Lady Bearcats. Stevenson and Crawford both share duties at times on the ball. Aubrey can get the ball to the cup and always seems to be quick to the hole. She can create her own shot off the dribble along with bringing some pressure in the passing lanes with her active hands.
Can the Lady Bearcats make a run in Class 5A in the Upstate this season?
Hudson is best known for her SHOOTING the ball from downtown. Chloe really does a nice job of getting the ball off in space. She shoots the ball at a good clip, and it seems like it’s going in on every shot. Hudson finished with 11 points in a win over Ross HS (OH) to start things off. The Lady Bearcats finished the weekend with a (3-0) record.
Shaw went to work for the Lady Blazers all night long. Naydia just a freshman does her best work inside the paint area. She had 20 points and 12 rebounds tonight according to my unofficial stats. Naydia took 3 charges tonight for the Lady Blazers.
She plays the game on contact and really seems to thrive in that style of a game. Naydia will work to post-up and receive the ball down on the block. Shaw did connect on a short baseline jumper here tonight. She was constantly around the ball all evening long to make a play for her team.
Highlights
Blye came up big today for the Lady Bears down in the paint. Jurnee plays the game extremely HARD at all times. Blye finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds while collecting some bruises along the way. She plays well beyond her years on the floor and always plays the game very VOCALLY. Jurnee will jump on the deck for a loose ball with no hesitation at all.
Blye will make a debut somewhere in the 2027 Palmetto State Rankings when they come out in Mid-March 2024 for the first time that’s for sure.
