The forwards listed in this article are long and can shoot the three ball and stretch the floor for their team.
Ashlei Daniels
Ashlei Daniels
Daniels is guaranteed to control the boards and limit the opposing team from having free range in the paint. She has quickness to match her length. Daniels understands how to move the ball around the perimeter and look for her teammates. She could honestly stand to be more selfish and look to score more. When she does attack, she has a quick first step and can get past smaller opponents. I believe Daniels would be a tremendous role player because not everyone will score 15+ every game, but a supporting cast of players that consistently rebound and play defense is vital. She would bring heart and hustle to any team.
Kyla Smith
Kyla Smith
Smith is a scrappy player. She’s that player that will find a way to get her hands on the ball, specifically on all rebounds she is in the mix. Smith is a good communicator in the back of the press for her team, and was effective knowing when to release from the back of the press to go for steal at half court. It’s not always common for high school players to consistently calculate this gamble in the press. She finds a way through pure grit and determination.
Emily Bray
Emily Bray
I was impressed with Bray’s ability to finish against bigger opponents. On the wing she uses her strong stature to rip the ball through high and turn to the basket to score so that the defense has to reach over her to foul. She made great reads based off her spatial awareness- reverse pivoting to receive the ball and square and shoot or make a move. She will also pull from the three.

Jackson has a canon of a shot from the corner pocket. This powerful shot could use a bit of refinement but it’s impressive to see a girl in high school shooting with so much power. This really displays her upper body strength. She’s a primary ball handler for her team. I saw her make good decisions in transition, either finding the open man or crafty her way to the basket. Standing a true 6’1, Jackson is a versatile player that will be a play maker on any team.
Terry is a spot up shooter. But once the defense catches up to this shooting ability, she will show you her slashing skills. She was coming up hot for her team against a very talented North Little Rock team and finished the tournament as MVP. Terry is a heavy hitter from the area and state for the class of 2025.
