Congrats kid! Kizer had herself a night…with a memorable 30 point, eight 3-pointers performance in Houston’s win. She’s now only 28 points shy of scoring 1,000 for her career. Kizer has become one of the most consistent scorers in her class, and is a really nice talent.
Shepherd is just a baller. This weekend, in a huge win over Ensworth, Shepherd had 31 points with 5 threes. She’s an exceptionally skilled guard that came into the season with some big expectations, and has more than answered the bell.
After a bit of a tough week scoring the ball last week, Buford went off for 31 points in a loss to Clarkrange this week. She’s become a legit 20-25 points a game scorer, but as the season winds down, buckets become harder and harder to come by. 31 vs Clarkrange is big time.
I really enjoy this Brentwood basketball team. They ran into a really tough Nolensville team, but Ryan still scored 24 (against Washington no less!). They followed that up beating Centenial in a game in which Ryan had 30. Ryan is an ELITE scoring guard. If she can drop 24 on Washington…she can do it on anyone.
Melton has continued to be a revelation for Central Magnet! This weekend she went off for a career high 34 points to lead all scorers in a 47-35 win over Franklin County. Melton has turned into a legitimate 3 level scorer that also compete on the glass and defensively. I really enjoy watching this kid compete!

Kennedy Hudson
Kennedy Hudson
Hudson is an incredibly diverse wing that can impact the game in a multitude of ways. This weekend she had a triple double in a win vs Glencliff as she finished with 15 pionts, 13 rebounds, and 11 steals. The unsigned ’25 has the size and diverse skill set to be a college player.
The Lincoln Co product finished with 25 points and eight rebounds in a huge 59-55 win over Columbia Central. As Lincoln Co tries to stay competitite and gear up for a post season run, getting Bryan rolling at the right time will be key.
Izzy Gavigan

Father Ryan is 14-1 on the year, with a lone loss to Brentwood. They are primed to make a postseason run, and are playing their best basketball of the year. Unsigned senior Izzy Gavigan is averaging 19 points and 6 rebounds in their 2-0 week. She continues to put together an impressive senior campaign.
Dolente led Upperman to another 2-0 week, and averaged 17.5 points and 8 rebounds a game in those big wins (every game in that district is a big game). She recently went on a stretch where she averaged 6 made threes a game on 53% shooting….but has cooled off bit. You know you’re pretty good when you “cool off” down to 18 points a game. Dolente is the real deal.

If you’ve never seen Anna Lee Avery Anna Lee Avery 6’0″ | SF Houston | 2024 State TN play…do yourself a favor. She’s a clever scorer that simply finds ways to get buckets. Sneaky scorer that you feel like you’re done with the game….and you look up and Avery had an unassuming 17 pionts. She was the District 15-AAAA Player of the Week as she averaged 20 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Baugus is playing her best basketball of the season, and it’s coming right at perfect time. Lead her Wayne County team to a 17-3 record so far, and she recently won Player of the Game honors at the Grind to Shine Classic after a 22 point, 10 rebound, 5 assist, and 2 block performance. She’s hoping to bring her team back to the state championship game.
Leslie Burton

Boyd-Buchanan has a nice squad this year!!! Burton is a long, tough sophomore post that just keeps getting better and better. She is quickly turning into a double-double machine as her coaches have challenged her to pull 12 boards. She surpassed those numbers this week as she averaged: 14 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 7 assists. I LOVE when I have a post that can both dominate the paint, and be a facilitator as a passer. Burton is really good folks.
