Vogler is one of the best-scoring guards in the 2027 class. Over the summer, she showed moments of brilliance and looked like one of the best players on the floor at times, alongside some talented kids. As Vogler matures and grows into her frame, the 5’8 could be one of the most prolific scorers in the class. She has the length, aggression, touch, and vision to be the focal point of Sun Prairie East’s offense.
Amelia Van der Kooy
The Raccoons are an older team and have a few kids who could play at the next level if that’s the route they choose to take. That means Van der Kooy will learn about the varsity level without being relied upon to do everything. You’ll see flashes of the kind of player she may turn into in games like the KM game on the road, where she made four threes. Van der Kooy has the talent to become an all-conference kid in the Classic Eight.
Beth Langebartels Beth Langebartels 5'11" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2027 WI
Sometimes, it takes kids until they’re out of high school to learn how to make winning plays without scoring the ball, but Langebartels understands the value of everything right now. Before some injuries hit Wisconsin Lutheran this season, Langebartels came off the bench and brought energy to the court when the Vikings needed it. Now, she’s become an integral contributor on offense and defense. She’s an excellent help-side defender who can block shots and rebound well. Langebartels is a versatile scorer on the offensive end and can score it from the perimeter and around the basket, and on top of all that, she plays hard.
Finley Morgan Finley Morgan 5'8" | SG Laconia | 2027 WI
After watching Laconia open the year, it was evident that Finley would play a significant role in the Spartans’ season. She adds a dimension that they didn’t have last season. Morgan is the quickest player on their roster and can navigate through traffic in the paint, if not better than the kids who just went to back-to-back state title games, winning the 2023 championship. She’ll be someone who shines when the lights get brighter and make more of a name for herself in late February through March.
