Makayla Carney was nice on the block using her box out skills to get the rebound or over the back calls on taller opponents. She had a solid up and under move creating a wide open look for her to bank it in off the glass. She hustled after loose balls saving the possession and finding her teammate. She found the openings flashing to the basket keeping her arms high for the ball.

She hustled back on defense grabbing the steal on a fast break. She had a nice jump ball block on another defensive stop. She battled inside for rebounds looking to explode up the court. She was patient waiting to attack the paint getting her defenders off balance. She truly never gives up on a play.
Azahreya Drayton-Gill was aggressive driving to the hoop and scoring through contact. She was relocating after the pass and getting the ball back for her jumper. She was flashing in and out of the paint getting the open look and putting up her jumper. She had a strong take into the paint hitting a contested two points late in the fourth right when her team needed it.
Blanca Thomas brought some life to her team in the first quarter getting offensive rebounds for some points and sealing off her opponents for the entry pass to get the bucket. She battled through contact making old fashioned three point plays. She certainly draws a lot of attention to her, and she continues to fight through any kind of defense that comes her way.
Olivia Fava was a big asset on defense diving on the floor for loose balls and hustling after steals. She seems to always slide into the passing lane at just the right time. She had a strong old fashioned three point play in the fourth quarter bringing some life to the Cougars.
