Mia Washington Mia Washington 5'11" | PG Pope John | 2026 State NJ – Pope John – After averaging 6+ppg as a freshman, Mia built up her confidence on the AAU circuit and it has translated into a big start to the season. In a tough 51-45 loss to Passaic, Mia helped keep her team close with 16 points and 4 rebounds. She and Addy Platt Addy Platt 5'11" | SG Pope John | 2026 State NJ form one of the top duos in North Jersey and with a revamped roster and a new coach in Peter Torres this team should get tougher as the year moves forward. On the season, Mia is averaging 14+ppg and 2+rpg for the 7-3 Lady Lions.
Cayla Menicola Cayla Menicola 5'10" | SG Ramapo | 2024 State NJ – Ramapo – In a game where Paramus Catholic decided someone other than Camden Epstein Camden Epstein 5'10" | CG Ramapo | 2026 State NJ would have to beat them, Cayla stepped up to the plate with her 5th double double of the season and her 2nd in as many games. She led the team to a 52-35 win with 19 points including 5 3-pointers, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Ramapo is 8-2 and Cayla leads them in scoring, rebounding and assists with 13+ppg, 8+rpg and 2+apg. For her efforts against Paramus Catholic, Cayla was named Co-MVP for Ramapo and will be playing for Haverford College next season.
Toni Pernetti Toni Pernetti 5'11" | SF Ramapo | 2026 State NJ – Ramapo – As the other Co-MVP for Ramapo in a 52-35 win against Paramus Catholic, Toni finished with 18 points including 2 3-pointers, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. After just 2+ppg as a freshman and successfully focusing her energy as one of the top defenders in North Jersey early this season, Toni has added offense scoring in double figures in 3 of the last 4 games to help give the 8-2 Green Raiders the 3rd scorer they’ve been looking for. On the season she is averaging 10+ppg, 5+rpg and 2+apg while routinely matching up with the opponent’s leading scorer. Secaucus senior Alyssa Craigwell Alyssa Craigwell 5'9" | SF Secaucus | 2024 State NJ and her 21+ppg are on tap for this weekend.
Lexi Carnegie Lexi Carnegie 5'9" | SF Teaneck | 2026 State NJ – Teaneck – In an upset over Saddle River Day, Lexi did her thing and filled the stat sheet. She finished with 13 points including 2 3-pointers, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Lexi is the engine of the dangerous 8-2 defending North 1 Group 3 State Champs and, with the 61-57 win over the Rebels, the Highwaywomen are ready to go on a run as they try to defend their sectional title and try to take the Bergen County crown away from Saddle River Day. Lexi has 8 double doubles in 10 games this season. She leads the team in scoring, assists and steals while being 2nd in rebounding with averages of 16+ppg, 10+rpg, 5+spg and 3+apg.
Julianna Almeida Julianna Almeida 5'9" | SG Saddle River Day | 2024 State NJ – Saddle River Day – Navy commit Julianna and her Saddle River Day Rebels were on the short end of a 61-57 decision against Teaneck, but her efforts were the main reason her team had a lead late in the 4th quarter. She finished with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Physical and athletic, she is one of North Jersey’s top defenders and, offensively, she is averaging a career high 16ppg. She is also averaging 5+rpg and 2+apg for the 8-2 Rebels who have a tough stretch of games ahead.
