One of the top small-school prospects of any age, Runon Muroya Runon Muroya 5’8″ | PG Western Christian | 2026 State OR is absolutely one that coaches will want to keep an eye on. The point guard for 2A Western Christian, Muroya is one of the best shooters in the state and a crafty, creative player with the ball in her hands. A few of her top league performances include 20 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, and 4 steals against Regis; 26 points (including four 3’s), 4 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals over Santiam; and 18 points (again including four 3’s), 5 boards, 4 assists, and 4 steals versus Willamina. Clearly, Muroya can do it all on a basketball court, which she has proven while leading her Pioneers to 18-1, 10-0 in league, and the top spot in 2A.
Elliette Kinney Elliette Kinney 5’8″ | SF Creswell | 2026 State OR has been a huge factor in 3A Creswell’s success this season. The 5’8 wing is one of the top guard rebounders around, and is also sneaky with the steals on the defensive end. Within their last handful of games, Kinney had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals in a tight, 1-point, road win over Elmira; 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals at Harrisburg; and 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 steals against Siuslaw. Kinney has been showing immense development in her sophomore season, and still has massive potential to continue to get better over the course of her career. She’s helped Creswell to #9 in the state, so she will be one to watch come postseason time.
Omri Brown Omri Brown 5’8″ | SG Westside Christian | 2026 State OR has shown off such brilliance in all areas of her game; whatever the Eagles need, Brown delivers. In league play, she has had big games of 19 points, 13 boards, and 7 steals against Catlin Gabel; 11 points and 6 rebounds against Valley Catholic; and 11 points, 4 boards, 1 block, and 1 assist on Horizon Christian. As can be seen from the numbers, Brown is an excellent rebounder even as a 5’8 wing, and regularly scores in double digits for her team. The sophomore is one of Westside Christian’s most consistent contributor in multiple statistical category, and she is continuing to grow and learn from some of her talented, older teammates as they sit in first place of the Lewis & Clark League.
Eliza Nisly Eliza Nisly 5’6″ | PG Amity | 2026 State OR is has already proven herself as a leader and one of the top players for Amity, the #3 team in the state at the 3A level. Nisly is a top-notch defender with incredible awareness who puts up big numbers in the steals department. She also has great court vision on offense while running the point for the Warriors, where she frequently finds her teammates up the floor in transition or in prime spots to score. In their two most recent league games, Nisly had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block against Sheridan followed by 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 7 steals over Scio. This impressive Amity team filled with sophomores and juniors has a shot at winning a state title this year and for seasons to come, and Nisly will be one to watch along the way.
Speaking of talented, young teams, Valley Catholic has earned their spot as one of the top teams in 3A, largely due to their incredible defensive intensity, and sophomore Brooke Wilson Brooke Wilson 5’6″ | SG Valley Catholic | 2026 State OR is one of the major contributors in this category. Wilson sits atop the Valiants’ press, and opposing teams struggle to get the ball past her length and her relentless pressure, often resulting in her nearing 10 steals each game. In addition to the points she creates off of fast-break opportunities, Wilson can also knock it down from deep. In two of their most recent league games, Wilson had 10 points (including two 3-pointers), 7 steals, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist against a very good Westside Christian team; and 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 steals on Horizon Christian.
