It was a great day of basketball and while the weather was frozen outside, the action was hot in the gym with six great games. First up, a look at some players who could open your eyes as sleepers the rest of the year and into the offseason.

She does a great job anticipating the action, will step in front of a pass and can turn it into a transition basket off the turnover. She is smooth and elevates well at the rim. A player to keep an eye on as she heads into her junior year. Has a great willingness to learn and get better.

This leftie knows the game very well as a coaches kid, and has a complete game that is getting better. She can step out and drop threes while also possessing good post moves and with her still being young her growth in the game is still in front of her. I expect her game to blossom as she continues to work and develop other tools to add to her game. Good future ahead of her.

I got to briefly see her in the past at Franklin Monroe, but now with the move over to Tri Village, her game will grow with great players around her. She is so athletic, there is a lot she can do with the basketball including getting by her defender downhill and get to the rim. She can pressure the ball and cause mistakes with her active hands. Her best years are yet to come, I like her game!

Marina is another player who people are going to start to notice a lot more, as she is improving every game. She is a good shooter with range out behind the arc and provides strong leadership. Can penetrate, and is able to get her teammates into the right spots.

This girl is all over the place out on the floor, plays with a lot of energy. Tiffany can battle through the physical play and draw contact. Moves well without the ball and can be a threat from various places on the court. She can play fast and has good speed and is agile enough to get to the rim and score.

Even when the team struggled on this day, she battled through that and really showed effort to make plays for her team. Can get into position in the paint and use her body to finish at the rim. Able to play through contact. Would like to see her become a bit more reactive to the play, but I think that will come with experience. I like the way she stays with the play even against a stronger opponent. Watch for her game to continue to grow as she plays with Team Ohio this spring.

Quick active hands, can push the ball in transition. Has good range, not afraid to let it fly from behind the arc. She is flying under the radar and really has shown a lot of improvement in her game. Has good court vision. This team has a lot of good weapons so her game will get to continue to improve.
