Hampton is one of those players that I hadn’t seen yet left a lasting first impression. I overemphasize that Texas is a very big state and with the numerous platforms out there, this will happen unless a player PERFORMS where I am and the bits and pieces I caught were enough for a REAL EVALUATOR to know what he was looking at. She’s a long and athletic guard, this too is the base and she used her athleticism on both ends. Solid defense “on the ball” and she played the passing lane yet she also scored off the dribble strongly and did a good job of creating her shot and knocking it down from mid to long range

Ford made my Tip Sheet over a year ago and a half ago, this is what search bars are for yet search no more if you’re looking for DESIRE and EFFORT which are things I love to seeing in players because those are intangibles you cannot teach. I wrote UPS because unlike my package from the Holidays, she delivered and elevated but her rebounding with POWER on both ends were very nice, so were her putbacks. She attacked the basket strongly, finished after the lick and her interior defense was also nice
Wormly is one of the most “long and athletic” players in Texas that can actually play and by that I mean her ability to just change the momentum, from either end of the floor is special. She showed it over the club season and has blossomed every time I’ve caught her in high school yet watching her float to the basket and defy gravity on her finishes gives me my adrenaline rush, so does her playing the passing lane to either score or dish, yes her court vision is nice. Well, so is her timing, as well as her defense
Samuels is powerful around the basket, well, that’s an understatement because she’s fearless and goes after everything, not only off the rim but loose balls included. Her interior defense was solid yet she also showed me she could step outside of the paint and apply pressure, in the set as well as full court. Her first step is nice, so is her body control as she not only attacked from multiple angles, she finished strongly after contact and when you factor in her upside …
Highlights
Farrier passed the eye test off the top yet without looking at the book to see who she was, it dawned on me that I had not only seen her a few times but added her to the Top 100 after catching her on the PGH Circuit over a year ago. She’s blending in nicely with the state champion team and as a move in, she’s filling in many blanks but after all, she’s long and athletic, plays the passing lane, rebounds on both ends and scores not only around the basket but off the dribble
