Hampton has helped lead her team to the state championship tomorrow yet I have been impressed with her for years but as @playerrimidies so eloquently wrote “she elevates over defenders” should give you an idea of her being able to use her athleticism on both ends see evaluations here yet her ability to games over down the stretch is special

Hampton soars into her pull-up mid-range jumper with confidence, elevating over defenders and creating clean separation at the top of her release. In transition, she’s a game-changer defensively, delivering monster chase-down blocks that swing momentum instantly. Her timing, length, and explosiveness make her a constant two-way presence on the floor.

Hampton is a hard-nosed defender who truly understands the value of utilizing her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her “on the ball” pressure can be smothering at times, yet it creates havoc, which leads to turnovers and baskets going the other way. Her first step is powerful, so are her finishes after contact; body control plays a part in that. Her court vision is solid, so is her pull-up jumper see evaluations here

Hampton and her “step back” can be mesmerizing as she keeps the defender guessing. Yeah, she has a deceptive first step to attack and score, but her body control after the lick is a huge plus. She has solid court vision, in the set as well as in transition, and she was one of the Top Performers from here, see evalautions here

Hampton went off at the “She’s A Bucket” event last week, see evaluation here, and guess what, she did it again. She applies so much heat defensively that it creates havoc, which leads to turnovers. This included playing the passing lane, yet her seeing the floor, scoring off the dribble, as well as dropping the jumper, and even doing it, showing the step-back, were all pluses

Hampton brings so much heat, and watching her not only outrebound taller players but go AFTA everything off the rim as well as in the air is always a treat for me to see. Her “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline creates havoc and disarray for the offense, but she also can score both from outside and off the dribble

Hampton is one of those players who, once she gets going, is hard to contain see evaluations here. She reads the floor on both ends very well; her crisp passes in traffic to hit teammates off the dribble looked good, but she threaded the needle in transition as well. She applied “on the ball” pressure, picked some pockets, and played the passing lane, but her relentless attacking of the basket to finish was also nice

Hampton is going to make a gigantic jump on the next update, as she brought numerous pluses to the table, starting with her “on the ball” pressure, such as picking pockets for steals and diving on the floor for loose balls. Let me also add her “timing to block shots.” Her energy stayed the same throughout the game as she played the passing lane, scored off the dribble, and even dropped the “stop and pop” jumper

An athletic force on the glass, Hampton fights through contact to secure tough tip rebounds and earn trips to the free throw line. She has a relentless, won’t be outworked mentality and causes problems in the paint as she refuses to be outworked.

Hampton is a “long and athletic” guard, which is still the base and watching her slice through defenders to get to the basket got her on one of my Sandra Meadows Classic Tip Sheets. Yes, she left a lasting first impression because either I hadn’t seen her during club ball or her club failed to turn in a roster and I kept it moving which is basically what she does because she uses her athleticism on both ends of the court. She created her shot under pressure and knocked it down with a hand in her face yet she also threaded the needle in traffic for assists
