Addison Shehan
Addison Shehan drained six three-pointers for North Hills Christian on Friday night. She is a talented sophomore who is always shot-ready. Shehan can create space for her three-point shot in transition or the half-court. She is a special player who continues to improve on the floor for the Eagles. She ended the game with a team-high 18 points.
Ge’Kayla Goins connected on 9 of 10 field goals while scoring 28 points for her team in a win over College Prep and Leadership Academy. Goins is an exceptional athlete with fantastic speed in the open court. She has an explosive first step and finishes well around the rim. Goins is a talented offensive player, but she may be an even better defender. She pressures the ball handler and creates multiple steals per game due to her tenacity on defense.

Ellie Cronin led Ravenscroft to a win over Cary Academy on Friday. She finished the game with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Cronin is a force on the court. She is able to score inside and out, defend with her length, and create steals that lead to easy scoring opportunities for the Ravens. Cronin also has a smooth outside shot and deep three-point range.
Madison Drayton is only a freshman at Cannon High School, but she is an elite player for her squad. In a win over Providence Day, Drayton scored 25 points. She connected on 11 made field goals as well as 2 made three-pointers. Drayton also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds in the contest on Friday. She is currently leading her team in points per game, field goal percentage, and steals per game. Additionally, Drayton is second in assists and rebounds per night. She is a complete player who continues to improve on the basketball court for the Cougars.
Highlights
Kylie Torrence scored 23 points for High Point Christian Academy on Friday. Thus far in her junior season, she has led her team to a 17 and 3 record. Torrence is an outstanding athlete who is also super-skilled. She has fantastic touch around the rim and can score through contact in the paint. When Torrence catches the basketball on the perimeter, she is a threat. She has a smooth stroke and can shoot it from deep. Currently, Torrence is averaging 19 points and over 9 boards per game.
