On Tuesday evening I had the chance to sign in and watch a handful of lives games across the state of Nebraska. In the article below, I am going to highlight the handful of players that stood out to me the most. These players maybe didn't score the most points or grabbed the most rebounds but their play was crucial in their team's efforts last night.

Throughout this one, the Broncos had two players consistently produce, adding up to a total of 24 of their teams 42 points. One of those producers comes in the form of an undersized Forward in [player_tooltip player_id='820524' first='Hayley' last='Donohoe']. Donohoe stands between 5'6-5'8 and she has a high motor. She has proven over the past year and a half that she is someone that isn't afraid to mix it up and get physical with bigger players. If she see's an opening, there isn't anything that is going to get in her way. To be a smaller player and to live amongst the trees is tough. There is a lot of hard work done between the blocks that most people don't account for and Donohoe lives for it. In her teams win last night, she registered 10 points on 5-10 shooting, 7 Rebounds, and 2 Steals. In the end, all of these stats were vital for their team to come out on top. Without them, this game is a completely different story.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["770504"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Shelby-Rising City didn't end up winning their game yesterday but that didn't stop them from having a player or two step up and standout. The one in particular that I am thinking of is [player_tooltip player_id='770504' first='Ava' last='Larmon'] at the Combo Guard position. Larmon is a 5'6 Guard, with a quick trigger from deep and a natural scoring ability. It's to nobody's surprise that this Huskies team is at their best when Larmon is in full attack mode with the ball in her hands. One of the best attributes about her game is that she doesn't try to over-play her hand, getting herself into trouble. Not to mention, that she is very good at seeing the floor and understanding what is happening in any given moment. Giving her the ability to help out others around her whenever they have a break in play. I'm not sure what the future holds for Larmon but she has put together a very nice high school career over the past couple of years. One she should be very proud of.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Kaitlynn O'Neil","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2027","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"5'7u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"12125","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Blair","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Throughout the state of Nebraska, there are a number of talented players at all age levels. Someone that I've noticed this past few weeks out of the 2027 Class because of her contributions is Kaitlynn O'Neil of Blair High School. O'Neil is only a Freshman but she has shown some promise on the hardwood. In her teams contest last night, O'Neil registered 4 points in her efforts. This might not seem like a lot but for a team that has consistent scoring across the roster, 1-8, it's not too bad. Over the next handful of years, O'Neil could grow her game into something impressive at the 2 spot. As for right now, she is getting her hands on a ton of steals each contest and always making a difference with her hustle. Something that all coaches love to see, unless you are her opponent.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='977393' first='Ellie' last='Mangers']","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"5'7u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"12125","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Blue Hill","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='977393' first='Ellie' last='Mangers'] of Blue Hill High School put together a complete game yesterday against the Havard Cardinals. Mangers recorded 8 points, 2 Assists, 2 Steals, and a handful of rebounds from her Guard position in her teams, 61-24 win. There are a lot of players that I could have added to this article from this team because of just how good they all played but I think that Mangers is an important piece to this teams puzzle as a whole. If the Bobcats are going to want to win come postseason, everyone is going to have to lock in and take care of their own job. Manger's job will be scoring and setting up others for success off of that ability, while being a tyrant on defense creating chaos/turnovers. If she does that and everyone else is committed, this team is going to be a tough out. They can beat you in a handful of ways so if you don't come prepared, it's not going to end well and that was on full display last night.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["770532"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Kearney Catholic fell just short last night in a close game against the Holdrege Dusters, 42-38. In the end, the Stars had one player step up big time and that was [player_tooltip player_id='770532' first='Callie' last='Squires'] at the Forward position. Squires finished the contest with 19 Points, 8 Rebounds, 1 Assists, 2 Steals, and 1 Block. As you can tell, she was doing all that she could from the Post position while holding her own. Squires natural size of 6'0 helps her in mismatch situations but others need to play off of that. If not, it could be a struggle in the paint because of just how much attention Squires brings to herself. Throughout her teams first 12 games this season, she is averaging 12.3 PPG and 8 RPG, giving her some pretty productive numbers. At the end of the day, Squires is committed to Iowa Westlyn to continue on her Volleyball career following this year. If she is anything on the Volleyball court, like she is on the Basketball court, she is going to thrive.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65a850b03bbf9"} /-->
