<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Staley vs. Lee's Summit.</strong></h2>

<p>This game turned out to be a down to the wire finish. Staley prevailed 54-52 in the end. Lee's Summit proved they are a serious contender with this performance however. At 10-6 they have shown they can compete against the best and do so with great diversity in terms of their different graduating classes among contributors. This team gets productions from 2027s on down to seniors. As for Staley they continue to dominate and are sitting at 16-1 on the season. A team filled with dynamic guards and efficient frontcourt play.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Lutheran St. Charles and Rolla go back and forth.</strong></h2>

<p>Two of the best in Class 5 met at the Hermann Invitational on Friday and it was a can't miss game. [player_tooltip player_id='194527' first='Willow' last='Gideon'] had 21 points and [player_tooltip player_id='302779' first='Jordan' last='Speiser'] had 24 points. Each are top talents in the state and can score with the best of them. This was a high level game that college coaches will want to go back and watch. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Tournaments from around the state.</strong></h2>

<p>Starting at the Washington tournament it was Ursuline who brought home the hardware. [player_tooltip player_id='554959' first='Evelyn' last='Shane'] was a player who had a great performance. In Harrisburg it was Centralia who defeated Fayette. [player_tooltip player_id='460885' first='Braylin' last='Brunkhorst'] had 18 points in the game. Moving on, the Hamilton Tournament champions were Lathrop. The Lady Mules are 16-0 and having a dream season. An excellent week of basketball around the state. </p>
