An assertive yet controlled player with speed Bainter is among the few players I have seen that uses her off forearm to protect the ball on the finish. She uses her length and good timing well to rebound and block shots on the perimeter. also. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='616732' first='Tamia' last='Cheeks'], 5'8", Salina South, 2025 - I recently saw Cheeks play and was impressed with her. Offensively she works well away from the ball and in give-and-go type situations. Speedy, quick, and athletic she is tough to stay with on the back-cut. She is also a tough defender. Heady, good length, and uses her quickness well to keep ball handlers busy. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='766559' first='Katelyn' last='Menghini'], 5'11", St. James Academy, 2025 - Menghini brings good size, hustle, transition speed, and handles to the table. A player with great length, she has shot blocking ability on the perimeter. Illustrated by a sweet runner I saw her score against Shawnee Mission Northwest, Menghini has scoring ability too. An emerging stud in the ranks. </p>
