Jillian Barnes, Amity Reginal, Class 2024, position SG
Jillian had a huge game over Hillhouse yesterday. She had 28 points in the game and made 6 three pointers. She helped them win a close game with 15 points in the 4th quarter.
Jada Cheung, Position CG, Class 2025, High School Montville
Jada had a huge game last week against Putnam. In the game she finished with 37 points, and she scored her one thousandth career point in the game. Jada is a dominate scorer, than can control the tempo of the game. She good in transition, and very aggressive on defense.
Nina Nardecchia, Amity Regional, Class 2026, Position SF
Nina had a big game against East Haven on January 30th. She finished the game with 7 three pointers made, and 27 points. Nina is one of the better shooter in the CIAC. She is a Forward with length, that moves well with out the ball, and is very good spot up shooter.
Emma Ellison, Class 2024, High School Berlin, Position F
Emma had a huge game on January 25th against North Branford. She finished the game with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. Emma is a really good weakside defender. On offense she can shoot the three, and play inside and out.
Lia Calderon, Class 2027, Position PG, High School New Haven
Lia is only a freshman, but is proving she is varsity ready. She had a standout game on January 23rd w here she was the leading scorer with 22 points. She looks confident running the point for the team, and is proving she can score off the dribble or shoot. She does not force shots, and is able to create shots for herself or others.
