I’ve chosen 3 games from both divisions that should be great matchups! Listed below are the team match ups and players to watch!
Division 1
Canal Winchester (11) vs. Groveport Madison (17)
London Johnson London Johnson 6'0" | PF Canal Winchester | 2026 State OH – 2026, Canal Winchester: Watch out for this double- trouble machine! Attacks the basket, aggressive on boards, and knows how to step up in big games! (Below, shooting)
Zay Shepherd- 2026, Groveport Madison: Shepherd can take over a game! Puts the biscuit in the basket, strong handles, and makes the offense click!
Grove City (24) vs. Newark (23)
Thea Palmore Thea Palmore 6'0" | PF Grove City | 2024 OH – 2024, Grove City: I love the power that Palmore shows on the block, along with battling inside for boards. Strong, confident, and she’s a difficult assignment to guard!
Emma Quackenbush Emma Quackenbush 5'8" | CG Newark | 2027 State OH – 2027, Newark: This young lady keeps getting better and better! Quick, playmaker, finds the open seams, attacks the basket with grace, and she’s a bucket! (Below with ball, Featured Photo)
Walnut Ridge (19) vs. Lancaster (20)
Jenna Grabans Jenna Grabans 5'7" | CG Lancaster | 2024 OH – 2024, Lancaster: Grabans is the type of player that plays hard on every possession. Fights for loose balls, and boy can she knock down the 3 ball! (Below, #13)
Nyah Hubbard- 2025, Walnut Ridge: Hubbard knows how to turn it up on defense! Thrives on picking pockets and passes! Strong scorer and rebounder- does it all!
Division 2
London (10) vs. Columbus East (11)
Kassie Patterson- 2024, London: Patterson simply cannot be left open for a second behind the arc, because her muscle memory takes over and it’s nothing but net!
Kaliyah Barron Kaliyah Barron 5'7" | PG Columbus East | 2025 OH – 2025, East: No problem going coast to coast with the rock, makes shots with pressure and contact, and finds her teammates!
Columbus Eastmoor Academy (7) vs. Heath (9)
A’Liyah Brock- 2025, Eastmoor: Brock has such as a strong motor, which is an asset to her defense! Active hands, so quick on transition!
Peyton Del Cecato- 2025, Heath: Watch out for this defender- she is a pest with excellent on ball pressure! And she knows how to finish strong on fast breaks!
River Valley (8) vs. Bexley (13)
Megan Clausing- 2026, River Valley: Clausing will step up in any facet of the game and deliver. Knocks down shots from deep, and gets the job done defensively- active hands on D.
Reese McClellan- 2024, Bexley: Look for this senior leader to step up and play solid defense against River Valley. She is a beast on the boards, and ignites the team with her passing and fast breaks.
