STATEMENT WIN FOR DONIPHAN

Doniphan is now 18-0 with a No. 1 ranking, yet this was a big statement win for the Donettes over a Notre Dame program that has been the best in the SEMO area in recent years, including a Class 5 Final Four appearance last season.

DISTRICT REMATCH LOOMS ON HORIZON

There is a very good chance that these two teams will meet again in the postseason. Both have been placed in District 1, so a likely rematch would happen in the championship game. The one difference is that Cape Notre Dame is the host site of the district.
