Cape Notre Dame vs. Kennett (February 28th)
A high level game between two teams from the southeast part of the state. Cape Notre Dame is the higher seed despite having more losses. They’ve played a tough schedule and will be ready for the playoffs. Kennett on the other hand has dominated regional games and are led by a top freshman in Alyce Edwards Alyce Edwards 5'2" | PG Kennett School | 2027 MO . She’s a 5’3 scoring guard who has caught the area by storm. Look for this game to be a packed home crowd at Notre Dame who have high hopes in the playoffs.
Clinton vs. Knob Noster (February 28th)
This is a bigtime semifinal matchup between two teams who have been playing well all season long. It’s a tough district to make it out of and these schools are two reasons why. Knob Noster is a team that thrives on speed and scoring a lot of points. Being able to dictate tempo will be a major factor throughout. The winner of this game might have to face No. 1 seed Boonville shall they win in the game afterwards.
St. Joseph Lafayette vs. Benton (February 28th)
Yet another big Class 4 game between teams who have had great seasons. Benton 2025 Andrea Simmons Andrea Simmons 5'11" | SF Benton | 2025 State MO is a dynamic talent who can score at all three levels. Her ability to impact the game will be noticeable. How Lafayette chooses to guard her in addition to the play of Talicia Byrd will be key. These teams each have dynamic players that they rely on for offense. There are a number of storylines in this game and it’s expected to be a close, down to the wire game.
Battle vs. Wentzville Liberty (February 28th)
When you talk about games that will have a lot of current and future talent on the floor, this is one of the main matchups. Battle has a number of solid prospects that are well within the rankings. They’re the higher seed with more experience and an expected favorite. Liberty on the other hand is led by a host of underclassmen who will bring energy to one of their first big playoff games. These factors alone make it a fun matchup and a game to watch this Wednesday.
