The leader of the #7-ranked Jefferson (3A) team, Orton is one of the best scorers to do it. In league play, she had 27 points, including three 3's, in a win over Dayton, 39 points in the win over Taft, and 28 points in the huge win over Amity. The latter two performances earned her OSAA's Athlete of the Week. Plain and simple, Orton is a baller and one to know as she wraps up her junior season. She and the Lions play a crucial game at #3-ranked Amity this Friday with league championship implications.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["833528"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"I had the opportunity to watch [player_tooltip player_id='833528' first='Ava' last='Mai'] play last night in their game at Valley Catholic with the regular season league title on the line, and she did not disappoint. In the big win, she finished with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. She is an obvious leader on the floor when she is out there, especially on the defensive end where she plays intense and impressive on-ball defense. Mai also excelled at pushing the pace for the Eagles, and she came up huge with some big buckets, both attacking the rim and from deep, right when they needed them to pull away.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["833422"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='833504' first='Audra' last='Rose'] continues to get better with every game, blossoming with into one of the premier centers in 1A and in the state. The 6'1 junior has led the Buckaroos to the #6 spot in the state with a chance to make a deep postseason run. In a big week of play, she put up 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal against Crane; and 26 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in the win over Crosshill Christian, which are typical performances for Rose. With the abilities to dominate inside and on the boards, make big plays on defense, and stretch the floor, Rose has serious potential to continue playing at the next level.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["842691"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='842691' first='Isabel' last='McCauley'] has been leading the Challengers all season, in scoring and in so much more. The junior transfer from Crater was averaging 18.5 points per game midway through the season, one of the top in the state. Some notable league performances include 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 assists over Douglas; and 17 points against a very good Sutherlin team. McCauley can score in all manners of ways, and clearly makes her impact using her court vision, her aggressiveness on the glass, and her defensive hustle.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["833512"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Another one of the best scorers in the state of Oregon, [player_tooltip player_id='833512' first='Ava' last='Barnett'] was ranked third in scoring average at the midway point of the season, averaging an incredible 24.4 points per game. Her New Hope Christian squad is currently 20-2 with only one game remaining left in league play. Clearly, putting up big numbers is her standard, like her 22 points in the league win over Elkton or her 25 points in the league victory over Camas Valley. Barnett is an elite athlete, excelling at both volleyball and track as well, and she uses her quickness and athleticism to her advantage on the defensive end.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65c42a856ee49"} /-->
