Perhaps the best guard on the floor during the event. The crafty ’29 guard is lethal when she gets down hill with her right hand. Once she gets in the paint, she’s got a variety of crafty finishes well beyond her age. She’s also already a lethal shooter from 3. Really like this kids game. She led all scorers with 14.

Ronique Garner Ronique Garner 5'10" | PF Alcoa | 2028 TN
Garner was the MVP of the night, as she dominated the 3rd quarter with 10 points. Garner’s potential is absurd. She’s incredibly long and athletic, making her a potential menace on the defensive end. Plays with an edge, and when she learns how to harness that emotion into the controllables inside the game, she has the chance to be a really special talent.
Aubrey Thompson
Aubrey Thompson
Thompson impressed with her high level of skill and understanding of the game. Thompson is a state champ with Sevier County, and carried that play right over into the all-star game. She’ll have a shot to earn minutes next year as a freshman. She’s a high level talent.
Harper Stinnett
Harper Stinnett
Stinnett came out and dominated the 3rd quarter with 9 points. The crafty ’29 guard is already a 3 level scorer with an incredibly high upside. She’s got both the genetics and work ethic to be special–plus she’s got just a little “she’s different” to her game. She’s really benefitted by playing around such high level players throughout her middle school career. Absolutely a top tier ’29 guard.
Gemma Osborne
Gemma Osborne
Osborne is another kid who has the chance to be special. She took last season off from travel ball, but I did have the pleasure of coaching her in a few tournaments this summer, so I know her game well. She’s a bit of an unknown, but lookout for her to continue to grow from her state championship experience with Sevier Co MS.
She has the potential to be a high level high school player–has nice form, high IQ and instincts, long and athletic. She’s got all the tools. She knocked down a three, had some beutiful assists. Finished with 6 points.

Maryville has some ’28s coming up that I really like, and Harper White Harper White 5’8″ | SG Maryville | 2028 TN is one. She’s a kid I’ve coached against, and she always kicked my butt. She’s a modern stretch four that has the size, strength, and athleticism to be a big-time finisher at the rim. She’s also incredibly comfortable facing the basket, and attacking off the bounce. She’s a kid that I could see earn minutes immediately next season for Maryville. White has the “it factor.”
Kylie Schultz
Kylie Schultz
Kid is tough as nails, and her skill level has risen rapidly over the past two seasons. When I first saw her play, she was a pass first PG with really nice defensive instincts. Now, she’s turned into a high level 3 point shooter that can also attack the rim. Defensively, she’s tremendous and can guard the opposing team’s best guard. Schultz won the All-Star Game’s 3 Point contest. Kid can play!
Maddie Hall
Maddie Hall
Another Maryville ’28 that I really like. Hall has a rugged, tough, old-school style of play that I really appreciate. She bangs and battles….and enjoys it! Strong shouldered, and knows how to use her body and footwork to create scoring angles around the rim. Extremely tough to stay in front of off the dribble. She scored 8 points, and is another kid full of potential heading into HS.
