is already in the midst of her 2026 summer hoops season.
Garner, at 5’10”, has the foot speed to guard most perimeter players while having the size to defend a lot of post players, too. Her versatility on the defensive end and her unselfishness as a player provide all the makings of a player who contributes to winning.
Garner also has a solid inside scoring game. She is a great cutter and can create a bit on her own around the painted area. She has a spin move in her offensive bag that she can go to from time to time down low.

earns her stay mainly on the defensive end as a player. She is a pest and does not allow opposing players past her easily, and she consistently produces turnovers. Throughout her freshman season at Alcoa High School, she had games with multiple steals. This includes a game against Onedia High School, where she recorded four steals. Along with her disruption she causes in the passing lanes, she also is a solid shot blocker at 5’10”.
On offense, her game is growing. She has a great ability already to finish through contact, and has great maneuverability in creating a shot down low with a wide array of moves. She is extremely athletic and quick which will allow her low-post and driving game to only strengthen over her next three years of prep hoops. Garner is definitely a player with rocket high potential and should be on people’s radars.

The upcoming freshman has a real chance to make a difference next season. Athletically, she’s a high end D1 kid. She simply can do things other kids cannot dream of. And better than that, she does it instinctually without even having to think. She’s going to have to learn how to play team help-line man to man….but that tends to be the case with most freshman. But I could see her coming out and being an energic role player that bring a spark off the bench.
