Freshman Harper Stinnett Harper Stinnett 5'7" | PG Alcoa | 2029 TN from Alcoa High School had a memorable state tournament.

Stinnett’s play did not waiver under the state lights, as she continually laced in three’s in the two games Alcoa played at MTSU. Her best shooting performance was in the semifinals against the eventual state champions, Dyersburg High School. Stinnett went 4-7 from distance in the game.

Stinnett has a real chance to become one of the best shooters in the state over her next three years of high school basketball. She can make shots off the dribble and also off the catch. Also, Stinnett this season showcased elite deep range shooting, making long-range shots well behind the arc all throughout the 2025-2026 season.

When you put up close to 40 points in a single game with an efficient shooting mark, your name deserves to be mentioned! Stinnett is a young star! Harper is an elite athlete that is extremely tough to guard. She will hit you with the step back. She will beat you off the dribble. She will score at will whenever she wants. Stinnett is one of the savviest kids that you will find on the court. She makes the correct reads and her passing ability is next level! She is one of the BEST rebounding guards that you will find, and she is only a ’29. I never like to mention “levels” but this kid is a next level athlete that will play at the highest level!

In the class of ’29s, move her to the top! Harper is so incredibly gifted and she stands out amongst her peers. She’s an elite ball handler! She’s an elite passer! She’s a young ELITE athlete! She knows exactly how to use her body to fend off taller and bigger athletes. She has an explosive first step and she knows exactly how to get to the rim! Harper will be highly recruited, and everyone should enjoy watching this one at the Elite 80!
