It's tourney time! The NJSIAA playoffs are here and hoopers from around the state are putting their best foot forward to try and extend their season as long as possible. Survive and advance! Let's take a look at some of the top performer's from Day 1:

Group 4

[player_tooltip player_id='583710' first='Sianni' last='Hill'] | Pennsauken

11th seeded Pennsauken gave 6th seeded Shawnee quite the scare, although the Renegades held on 55-54 in overtime to advance. Sianni was a big reason why an upset almost occurred! She recorded a big double-double and played tough, fearless basketball; 15 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block. She finishes her junior year with 266 points and 155 rebounds in 24 games played.

[player_tooltip player_id='525472' first='Casey' last='Collins'] | Southern

Casey notched a major milestone as Southern advanced past Eastern. With an 18-point performance, she hit the 1,000-point career milestone, doing so in three years of high school ball. She drilled two big 3-pointers in the process and was laser-focused through four quarters. She is averaging 15 points per contest so far this season and will look to have a breakout against 2nd seeded Lenape in the quarters.

[player_tooltip player_id='782573' first='Anaya' last='Karriem'] | West Orange

Anaya was tenacious in West Orange's 71-38 domination of Passaic. She posted a huge 14-point, 16-rebound double-double and proved too much to handle. She used all of her 6'2" frame to wreak havoc on the glass and used her long reach to swipe four steals and cause a world of headaches for Passaic. Anaya is averaging 11.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as she looks to take West Orange to sectional glory!

[player_tooltip player_id='859089' first='Caitlin' last='Whyte'] | Middletown South

10th seeded Middletown South upset 7th seeded Princeton and Caitlin's huge 25-point explosion had a lot to do with it! She drained four huge 3-pointers and corralled important rebounds to lift her team into the quarters. The junior is having a career year and will look to keep that going against 2nd seeded Howell.

[player_tooltip player_id='414293' first='Jaida' last='Guerra'] | Union City

Jaida was clicking on all cylinders from deep in a commanding 67-33 opening round win against Columbia. She fired off four 3-pointers en-route to 23 points on the evening. The Puerto Rican National Team star is averaging 18 points per game and will look to lead the 20-8 Lady Eagles to an upset over 4th seeded North Star in the quarters.

[player_tooltip player_id='414341' first='Haszah' last='Ward'] | Plainfield

Haszah's two-way game was locked and loaded as Plainfield ran past Union 73-40. She tallied 14 points, pulled down 11 boards and swiped 6 steals in the big opening round win. Averaging a double-double on the season, this junior's stock continues to rise as she looks to climb the Class of 2025 rankings come March.

[player_tooltip player_id='488678' first='Amanda' last='Rapel'] | Phillipsburg

The Gettysburg commit banged in three huge 3-pointers en-route to a 24-point performance as her team coasted to a 70-59 win over 9th seeded Woodbridge. Averaging just over 18 points per game, Amanda is the nucleus of this Stateliners squad and her hot shooting will take them as far as they want to go this post-season!

[player_tooltip player_id='397076' first='Iriona' last='Gravley'] | Williamstown

Iriona's stock continues to soar in her senior season! The Drexel commit was flat out TENACIOUS in posting an incredible 33-point performance to lead top-seeded Williamstown past Kingsway 66-46. She was physical, aggressive and totally unafraid to post up and dominant the paint. If the Braves want to lift a sectional trophy next week, Iriona will be relied upon to continue her furious and impressive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='831178' first='Makayla' last='David'] | Kearny

Makayla shined bright in her first ever state tournament game as she went off for 30 points, hitting seven 3-pointers in the process. Her spot-up shooting was the hottest it's been all season which is a great sign for her team if they want to make a deep playoff run. With sixty-four 3's drilled so far, it's no secret that Makayla can light it up and decimate opponents from deep!

Group 2

[player_tooltip player_id='325192' first='Devyn' last='Quigley'] | Manchester Township

To absolutely nobody's surprise, Devyn was the star of the show in MT's opening round domination of Overbrook. In fact, her 35 points was nearly the same amount Overbrook scored as a team (43)! The NC State commit is one of the greatest offensive weapons New Jersey girls basketball has ever seen and she continues adding to her [current] 910-point total; one of the nation's leaders at 33.7 ppg. In addition to her scoring, Devyn also pulled down 12 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and tallied 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='601403' first='Angelica' last='Do'] | Leonia

14 points, 11 rebounds, 10 steals. A playoff triple-double? You betcha! This sophomore has been one of the biggest stock-risers in her class, continuing to post incredible numbers game after game. At just under 8 steals per game, she is one of the state's leaders and boasts a tremendous two-way package. She may just be one of the most exciting and underrated players competing this post-season! The 6th seeded Lady Lions will look to make some noise in the quarters as they face 3rd seeded Glen Rock.

[player_tooltip player_id='407040' first='Alyssa' last='Craigwell'] | Secaucus

Alyssa's fierce play on both sides of the ball gave Parsippany fits on opening day. She posted 24 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals to lead Secaucus to a 67-25 victory and earn a spot in the quarterfinals. The defense had no answer for her size, speed or skill as Alyssa is a match-up nightmare for just about anybody in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='325186' first='Faith' last='Fedd-Robinson'] | Newark Central

The greatest performance of the day goes to none other than Monmouth commit [player_tooltip player_id='325186' first='Faith' last='Fedd-Robinson']. With 40 points, 14 rebounds, 8 blocks, 5 assists and 3 steals, she did what does best which is DOMINATE. With multiple double & triple-doubles, her numbers have been downright SCARY this season! If Newark Central wants to compete for a sectional crown next week, Faith will have to extend her scorching senior season run.

[player_tooltip player_id='601332' first='Annie' last='Conover'] | New Providence

The sophomore led the way in the top-seeded Pioneers' 63-28 blowout of Point Pleasant Boro: 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals. Annie did a little bit of everything and continues to prove herself as this team's ultra-reliable jill-of-all-trades. There's been no sophomore slump for her as she's nearly doubled her points, made 3's, assists and steals from a season ago!

[player_tooltip player_id='488738' first='Emily' last='Tvrdik'] | Wall

What can't Emily do?? In Wall's 73-38 domination of 12th seeded Bound Brook, she stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. This senior's all-court game has continued to grow stronger as the year's have passed, with her confidence now at an all-time high! She is equal parts scorer and dime-distributor and an invaluable asset to this Lady Knights' team.

[player_tooltip player_id='406936' first='Allison' last='Cannon'] | Holmdel

With so many scoring options on this team, Allison has emerged as the most dangerous. Now couple that with her incredible court vision and you have one of the most talented point guards in the state. In Holmdel's 71-50 upset win over 6th seeded Spotswood, she put up 24 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Allison was clicking on all cylinders from almost everywhere on the court and fired off some sharp passes to teammates [player_tooltip player_id='414237' first='Mackenzie' last='Teevan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='859184' first='Jamie' last='DeCicco']. Holmdel advances to face 3rd seeded Rumson-Fair Haven in the quarters.
