The leading scorer among 5A 2027s, already bringing dependable post moves to maximize her 6′ frame. She stays true to the fundamentals, quickly seeking box outs to maintain position on the interior once the shot goes up. She has a very consistent right hand turnaround or hook shot, already adept at scoring through contact. Carbajal is a must watch prospect out of the Northern region of the state.

Bethel is a quick guard whose wide reach makes her a high upside two-way prospect. Effective accelerating downhill quickly with the ball, she does well gaining an immediate advantage off the immediate rip through. Her shooting efficiency beyond the arc has been encouraging, already one of the more dependable three point shooters on this 15-1 Northfield program. Defensively, Bethel is a pest at the point of attack, quick to swarm opponents handling the rock.

Already a productive component to Northfield’s two-way effort, Allen remains one of the state’s top prospects in this class. Capable of making passing reads out of the elbows or high post, she is a quick decision maker while under pressure. While off-ball, she works to gain position, either to grab a rebound or slash into an opening for a layup.

Nelson’s high motor has added to Northfield’s deep roster, putting her body on the for loose balls. Her impact on second chance opportunities or on the defensive glass has raised this group’s floor. She currently leads all 5A 2027s in assists per game, proving to be active moving the ball from kick outs or swing passes.

Martin was a standout performer from the freshman showcase last fall, no surprise to her from her dominance on the glass and defensive interior. She has excellent hand eye coordination, complemented by quick feet to wall off the lane with ease. Martin should be on radars over the coming seasons due to her limitless motor and upside on the offensive end.

Clark has shown value as a dependable decision maker, picking her spots on the floor to take advantage. Already a refined scorer in or out, she handles pressure well, in part from her advanced footwork this early on. Her positional size allows her to the upside to defend 2-4, certainly bringing plenty of production through her first season with 17-2 Mead.
