Kalajah Wright
Kalajah Wright scores 12 points per game for Broughton. She also passes, defends, rebounds, and plays extremely hard. She has a motor that never stops for her team on both offense and defense. In the press, Wright is a problem for the other team. She forces nearly 5 steals per game. Additionally, Wright has an explosive first step and the ability to get to the rim or free through line. Each game, she shoots over 5 free throws.
Olivia Tucker leads the way for Panther Creek High School. She is averaging over 18 points per contest. Tucker shoots fantastic numbers from the floor. She can burn the defense on the drive, on a pull-up, or from the outside as well. Tucker has deep three-point range and a quick release on her jump shot. She is an aggressive scorer who makes space for her jump shot through a variety of moves. She has committed to play college basketball at Campbell University.
Angel Walker is making the most of her senior season. She is scoring over 14 points, grabbing 9 boards, passing for multiple assists, and forcing over 2 steals. Walker has tremendous speed and athletic ability. She can weave through any defense on her way to the rim. When Walker shoots the basketball, it has a great chance of going through the hoop. She is connecting on 42% of her shots and nearly 40% of her shots from the three this season.
Makayla Carney is a versatile player who competes on the court for Winston Salem Christian Academy. She is a pure scorer and an excellent rebounder. Carney has great hands, quick feet, and she anticipates well. When a pass is heading her way, Carney goes after it. She can also track several offensive rebounds per night. She also runs hard in transition and can score in stride. Carney is a talented player who can play multiple positions on the court.
Deana Prasad scored 14 points in Green Level’s win on Wednesday. Prasad has a fantastic feel for the game. She is a smooth player that makes the game look easy. When the basketball is in her hands, Prasad can burst to the rim, drop a dime to a teammate, or hit the outside shot with consistency. She is fun to watch on the basketball court. Prasad has committed to play college basketball at MIT.
