Olivia Tucker leads the way for Panther Creek High School. She is averaging over 18 points per contest. Tucker shoots fantastic numbers from the floor. She can burn the defense on the drive, on a pull-up, or from the outside as well. Tucker has deep three-point range and a quick release on her jump shot. She is an aggressive scorer who makes space for her jump shot through a variety of moves. She has committed to play college basketball at Campbell University. 

Olivia Tucker is continuing her sensational 2023 into her high school season.  The reigning state champion is sure to keep attacking the gaps both with and without the ball as she knows how to time her cuts to make them effective.  She’s smart when handling the ball knowing how to pick her move, execute it, and see her defender get lost behind her.  She gets to the rim easily and can knock down her shot from all over the court.

Olivia Tucker has been a fun athlete to watch in her high school career so far, and last year she took it to a whole new level.  She was consistently stepping up for her team knocking down shots, getting to the rim, stripping the ball to grab steals, whatever her team needed, especially in big moments.  Her fluid motions with her ball handling makes it difficult for opponents to stop her, and she sees the floor well knowing how to shift the defense making them open up some space.

Olivia Tucker had a phenomenal junior season winning the 4A state championship with Panther Creek, and she continued that strong performance over the summer traveling with Boo Williams.  Her ability to make plays continues to improve each time she steps on the court as she knows how to attack the gaps and find the openings whether she is handling the ball getting there or relocating after the pass.  Her knockdown shot from anywhere is sure to get her teams some points.

Olivia Tucker Olivia Tucker 5'7" | SG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC is a state champion with Panther Creek, and her MVP performance was a large reason why.  She is a three level scorer knocking down shots off the pass or off the dribble, and she knows how to create plays for her teammates by drawing defenders towards her as she attacks the paint.  On defense, she is feisty never backing down from opponents stripping the ball from them and taking it the other direction.

Barner’s teammate, Olivia Tucker Olivia Tucker 5'7" | SG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC , is continuing her dominant season showing why she earned MVP honors at the state championship game attacking the basket, exploding into the paint for the pass and bucket, and using her speed on defense to cause some problems for her opponents.  She has a high motor on both ends being able to create her own space, see the floor well, and know exactly how to score a bucket or dish it off to a teammate.  She does a little bit of everything, too, hustling after rebounds and going after loose balls.

The 2024 guard finished with a game high 27 points and 4 rebounds on her way to becoming the state title game MVP. She came into the game extremely aggressive, looking to establish her presence as Lake Norman fought to keep the ball out of teammate Taylor Barner Taylor Barner 5'7" | PG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC ‘s hands.   Despite missing some early looks at the basket,  she continued to stay in in attack mode until things opened up for her.  She did a great job handling Lake Norman’s high-pressure defense, helping to take the load off Taylor Barner Taylor Barner 5'7" | PG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC to help steer the offense. Defensively she did a great staying in front of her opponent and getting inside passing lanes to force turnovers.

Olivia’s all around game has been really impressive this season. The First-Team All District guard has been able to show off her shooting touch from the outside all season and has played extremely well defensively. She’s been able to be disruptive in passing lanes and can be seen on film diving after loose balls. She has displayed a lot of toughness at the guard position during the playoffs and we expect to see more of that Saturday.

Olivia Tucker did a nice job penetrating the defense making them shift to find her open teammates for some points.  She pushed the ball up the court getting the pass as an outlet and using her quickness with the ball to get it to the other end finding ways to get some points for her team.  She was persistent getting the ball through the hoop following shots for offensive rebounds.  She showed off a nice spin move in the paint to pull up for some points.

Olivia Tucker Olivia Tucker 5'7" | SG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC had a nice steal that she took all the way herself pulling up for a midrange jumper and two points.  She did a nice job flashing in and out of the paint calling for the ball to score some points.  She had a nice shot from deep helping her team go on a run tying the ball game up in the third quarter.  Her ability to control the tempo and drive hard to the hoop helped keep her team in the game as she was scoring on all levels.
