Grace Julieano – Lenox (2026)
Julieano has unfortunately had limited time on the floor this season as a sophomore. However, when she’s gotten time and when she’s been healthy enough to play, she’s really mad a massive difference for the Millionaires. Saturday saw her come up short against Renaissance School, but she finished with 11 points, her first double-digit scoring effort in more than a month.
Sy’Nye Baker – Renaissance School (2027)
With so many youngsters on the Phoenix, players like Baker are mentors for those young players. She’s a great player to look up to without a doubt after the season she’s had as a freshman. Saturday only continued that great story as she knocked down a pair of threes, making her trips to the line count as well for a 13-point effort. When she’s playing downhill, good luck trying to stop her from scoring or drawing contact.
Maya Ocana-Saunders – Renaissance School (2029)
Some schools might have an influx of young talent coming into their programs, but none seem to be at the level that Renaissance School is at. A pair of seventh graders led the charge today for the Phoenix, one of them being Ocana-Saunders, who finished with 14 points and a made three-pointer. She’s had her ups and downs so far, but her consistency in shooting, scoring and going with the flow of the game has picked up tremendously.
Zi’Yan Wallace – Renaissance School (2029)
The seventh grader once again had a massive game for Renaissance School as she seemingly has done on a regular basis this season. Not bothered by the competition or her own inexperience at the high school level, she came up big against Lenox, scoring 13 points to extend her 10+ point scoring streak to 18 games this season. Oh, and a nice 21-0 record for the Phoenix has a nice ring to it.
Hailey Ring – Pioneer Valley (2024)
Ring and Pioneer Valley’s chance at taking home the Class D tournament title came up short, but the senior still delivered on the floor. An impressive performance overall, Ring finished with 14 points, knocking down a pair of free throws as well, to help guide the Panthers to a big win. Her state tournament hopes are still very much intact and ongoing as well.
Taylor Garabedian – Hoosac Valley (2024)
Any day is a great day when you can take home some hardware back to your school. Garabedian and Hoosac Valley did just that in a blowout win over Pioneer Valley on Saturday. The senior led the charge with 10 points, yet another stellar performance from her in a consistently dominant final high school campaign. Oh, and the Hurricanes are riding a 12-game winning streak right now, moving onward in the state tournament.
