Taking her talents to Bowling Green as she made her mark in high school. She can defend a variety of positions including inside and outside the paint. Possesses a fantastic range and is capable of taking the three off a hard-set screen. She’s a blocking machine when a guard tries to attack the rim. A very talented player who takes care of the ball and score in transition well. She is moving from number 9 to number 6 in the rankings.
Helen’s length and aggressive play style really hurts the opposing team, Holley is very hard to contain when she has the ball in her hands. She is strong and reliable. She is a challenging, dependable player with good playing ability. She gets numerous rebounds, which gives her the opportunity to obtain second chances. Takes off in fast breaks every chance she gets. She will move up in the ranking from number 10 to number 7.
Very swifty with the ball and is very strong with her right hand. Tenacious and aggressive defender who battles for rebounds in the paint and seals her defender to score over her. She has a very smooth catch and shoot ability. Runs the floor, on the other end she’s good at stopping the ball. Extremely fast with the ball, able to maneuver and pass you in order to score at the hoop. She moves up from number 22 to number 19.
Bruce is an extremely difficult player to guard with her controlled body control and ball handling. She committed to Malone University and going to bring a lot of skills to that team. Able to shoot the rock from the outside and take you one-on-one right to the rim. Fights through contact and scores through multiple of defenders. She goes from number 43 to number 38.
When she is putting work in the paint, she uses her strength and length to score on the block; she will out rebound you with ease and put back up second chance opportunities. She will also step outside and let it fly from behind the three-point line. Even though most of her points come in the paint she puts in work from the outside as well. Up from number 56 to number 47 in the rankings.
I have seen Smoot play a couple of times and she is so strong with the ball and isn’t afraid to connect with contact to get to the free-throw line. She can shoot the mid-range shot and make hard cuts to keep the play going. Able to fight and battle through contact by making physical contact with the other team. She can cover several positions and you can count on this girl to keep improving! She gets bumped up to number 64 to number 61.
She has very quick hands which allow her to get her hands on a lot of steals and when she does, she runs in transition well which turns into buckets on the other end. Gets in the passing lanes and deflects the ball, she works hard to not let her defender cut in her face. Drives to the basket and can score with either hand on either side of the rim. She comes off the watchlist to number 65.
