I have seen Smoot play a couple of times and she is so strong with the ball and isn’t afraid to connect with contact to get to the free-throw line. She can shoot the mid-range shot and make hard cuts to keep the play going. Able to fight and battle through contact by making physical contact with the other team. She can cover several positions and you can count on this girl to keep improving! She gets bumped up to number 64 to number 61.

Jordyn was the unquestioned leader for this team, with a good basketball IQ, and a knack for the rim. Can attack well and battle through contact with her physical frame. Can guard multiple positions and expect her to continue to grow her game into the next level. She had a great career at Catholic Central and looks to shine in college when she gets there in the fall.

It’s time for Jordyn to show what she’s got as it is her senior season. She is their unquestioned leader and ir has been fun watching her game grow over the past few years. Her tenacious defense stood out on Saturday with ball pressure and athleticism that was unmatched. Her game has grown and her vocal leadership continues to grow. Very athletic and a strong physical player who can score in all three aspects. She has range and can knock down the midrange shot. Good footwork and able to finish at the rim. Can lock you down and force mistakes. Smart basketball IQ and ready to lead. (feature photo above)

I have said it before, her role will increase in high school as the Irish have lost some talented seniors from last year. Jordyn is a player who can really do great things this season, with an increased chance to score. She is athletic and can score from either the midrange or driving to the rim. Also with good range, she is a complete player. Very good on the defensive side of the ball, creates offense off of that,

Will have to step up her game this year with the loss of some key seniors from last year, and I expect her to. Jordyn is athletic and can smother you on defense, moves her feet well and uses active hands to create mistakes. Her offense is solid, can get to the rim and finish, can also score midrange.
