Kyra Mcalarnis Kyra Mcalarnis 5’10” | PG Perry County Central | 2025 State KY is coming off an incredible junior year. She led Perry County Central to a 21 win season, a 54th district championship, and fell one game short of a state tournament appearance. McAlarnis is a fundamentally sound guard that can score from all three levels, pull down rebounds, get others involved, and make an impact on the defensive end. The 14th region player of the year and 1500 career point scorer averaged 21 PPG and tallied 675 total points for the season. She grabbed 7.8 RPG (250 season total) and shot 81.1% from the free throw line, her scoring average and free throw percentage were both top 30 amongst state leaders. Kyra will be running with Kentucky Premier Elite 40-NE2K this AAU season.
Noteworthy Performances during the HS season:
31 PTS, 12 REB, 6 AST
25 PTS, 10 REB
33 PTS, 5 REB
29 PTS, 7 REB
Madison Central finished 19-12 on the season, won the 34th district, and made it all the way to the 11th region tournament semi-finals. Starting guard Brittany Campbell Brittany Campbell 5’7″ | PG Madison Central | 2025 State KY put up almost 10 points a game and was a key contributor for the Lady Indians all season long. Brittany is very good at driving the ball, she can find the slightest seam and get to the rim for a bucket or dish it to an open teammate. She is also a solid 3-point shooter and perimeter defender. Brittany will be running with Richmond Heat 2025, they will kick-off the travel season at the Phee Showcase in St. Louis, Missouri on April 12th-14th.
Highlights
Nicole Archibald Nicole Archibald 5’6″ | SG Bracken County | 2025 State KY finished her junior season averaging a team-leading 15.2 PPG along with 5.8 RPG, which was second most on the team. She is a reliable free throw shooter and a volume scorer that is capable of scoring 25+ points anytime she steps on the court. She has the “clutch gene” as well, the type of player that can get the job done under pressure. Archibald made the region 10 all-region team and reached 1500 career points and 500 career rebounds as a junior, I see her continuing to play at a high level into the AAU season for 16U adidas 3SSB Midwest Basketball.
Noteworthy Performances during the HS season:
29 PTS, 9 REB, 12/14 at the line
20 PTS, 4 REB, 6 AST, and 3 STL
32 PTS, 8 REB, 4 AST, 3 STL
Baylee Hudgins Baylee Hudgins 5’6″ | SG Harrison County | 2025 State KY had a solid junior season for Harrison County High School. The 5’6 guard led the team in scoring with 11.3 PPG, collected 2.9 RPG, and shot 74.3% from the free throw line making 78 out of 105 of her attempts in 29 games played. Hudgins is extremely effective off the dribble and shows good body control when finishing at the rim. She can also spot up and knock down shots from the perimeter at a consistent rate. What I like most is her ability to score from the low block as a guard, she has a patented post fadeaway move that is very hard to defend. You can catch her playing for the Louisville Lady Aces this AAU season. The teams first stop will be on the PGH Circuit at the Victory Region Kick-off in Romeoville, Illinois April 5th-7th.
Highlights
Skylar Waller Skylar Waller 5’7″ | PG Marshall County | 2025 State KY is a fierce competitor with a “warrior mentality”. She played through a torn ACL during the HS season and led Marshall County to a 21-9 record, while averaging a team-leading 13.7 PPG. Waller can make an impact on both ends of the floor. She is a lethal outside shooter that can also come up with steals on the other end and turn defense into offense.
