For the 5th consecutive year, I attended their individual player showcase on Sunday. The event had two sessions, with close to 80 prospects in the morning session and close to 60 prospects in the afternoon session. Below is a look at a handful of girls who I felt stood out during the afternoon session in Fort Wayne.

Next Level S40
– Bryn has been a nice support player the last couple of seasons on a very good and deep Lake Central team. During the grassroots seasons, though, she has played 17U in the past with the Illinois Defenders. She is a long, wiry lefty who plays with nice pace and some speed. She has a solid handle, good vision, and she is definitely a distributor first. She can get downhill and finish, and her shot has improved. I also like her length and quickness defensively.
Selin Oezcan, 2025, 5-3 PG,
Always 100
Red
– Selin is a kid kind of flying under the radar because of (a) her size, and (b) the fact she is in a Homestead program loaded with talent. She is extremely quick, shifty, and she really understands how to change speeds when she changes directions. She gets gaps well and collapses defenses, often finding the open teammate. She is a gnat defensively, and she can frustrate opposing ball-handlers, plus when left open, she can score it a little as well.
Lindsee Williams, 2025, 6-4 C,
Always 100
Elite 3SSB 17U
– Lindsee is a nice find for the 3SSB team. She is a big, strong, but active and skilled post presence from a small school in Southern Ohio. She has really nice length, good hands, solid footwork, and she works hard to establish position early in a possession. She rim-runs hard as well, and she is a nice rotational help-side defender who can block/alter a lot of shots. She should have plenty of college interest after a Spring with these guards.

Legacy Force Supreme 16U
– Chloe is a really nice 2026 wing, and she strikes me as the type of kid a lot of the better Midwestern small colleges love in their lineups. She has a solid to strong frame, nice length, and she is a good North/South athlete. In the halfcourt, she is a versatile, skilled shooter who can also put it on the floor a little and straight-line it to the basket. Defensively, she’ll need to get a little quicker, but she understands angles and anticipates very well.

Next Chapter S40
– I have seen most of the kids in 2026, especially the upper tier prospects, and Khala has to be at or near the top of the list of purest athletes in the group. She moves so effortlessly, has speed & quickness, is a bouncy athlete, plus she changes directions likes it’s nothing. She had several explosive games this year for Northrop, and as she adds a consistent perimeter jumper, she could be scary good. She is at minimum an athletic talent right now.
