An assertive player on either end of the floor, she is quick getting into passing lanes or trapping an opponent. Holy Family brings in one of the deepest backcourts in the state, regardless of class. Charlo’s presence as a facilitator under all circumstances was beneficial to Riverdale Ridge’s victory over Colorado Academy. Excellent at creating momentum off the immediate defensive rebound, she is an elite full court decision maker. Charlo found a large portion of her assists in transition, accurately sending out half court passes. Outside of her passing, the guard was dependable attacking the rim or knocking down the open jumper when necessary. This group’s dominance throughout the playoffs have been noteworthy, winning by an average margin of 29 points in their first three rounds.
The guard was excellent at controlling the pace, keeping her eyes up at all times for the next play. She had a few coast to coast possessions after securing the defensive rebound, actively taking it into the paint or setting up a shooter. The lead guard is rarely sped up with the ball, always in control in part from her shooting gravity and dependable handle.
Klein remains a steady perimeter playmaker, excellent stepping into jumpers from anywhere on the floor. The lead guard is adept flowing into shots off of ball screens, more than capable getting to floaters or pull-ups over the help defense. They do an excellent job at reading the floor, exploding downhill for driving lanes to set up teammates or create layups around the rim. Klein led this group with 18 points while going 4 of 6 behind the arc, including a few of those while off the bounce.

Ketchum was effective setting up perimeter shooters following drives into the paint. An effective scoring threat off the catch, the guard puts pressure on the opponents rather quickly. When needed, she could step into a three point attempt, should the defense sag off along the perimeter. Without a doubt, the guard’s performance of 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists helped this group’s offense dramatically.
Shahan proved beneficial by kickstarting fast breaks, actively anticipating outlet passes while setting up teammates for successful shot attempts. A capable ball handler, particularly in the fullcourt, they provided consistent impact as a facilitator for this group.
Contreraz played her role as an elite shooter, hitting some exceptionally deep shots from behind the arc. There are few teams in the state with a resource quite like this guard, who will certainly be one of those factor scorers throughout this next round. Should opponents choose to guard her by the volleyball line, Contreraz can attack downhill, drawing in multiple defenders.
