Some of Viki’s best moves were on showcase this morning at CEFCU arena. What impressed me most was her ability to stay calm against a dominant team as Lincoln. She attacked the basket with a purpose with no fear of contact. She led the team with points and assists.
Love getting to see an underclassman get playing time at the big dance. Goins’ efficiency with the minutes she had was impressive. She played with heart and not an easy thing to do on this court if it is your first time. Looking forward to seeing her game grow.
Loved getting to see Neumann play in person during the finals. As a basketball enthusiast, I would love to see basketball be her primary sport but we will take what we can get. The 6’0″ freshman forward showed how she helped get her team to state. Led her team with points and rebounds. The ceiling is high for her.
The University of Illinois at Springfield soccer commit showed what a dual sport athlete can do. Yeager has a keen eye for the court and was able to rack up 9 assists for the Glenwood team. She embraced her defensive versatility with her great rebounding.

I never get tired of watching Heitzig. She is extremely fleet footed and her footwork is a dream. The thing I love most about her is her ability to change speed and direction completely effortlessly. The Iowa State Cross Country commit always shows 100% effort on the court.
