John Burroughs is going to be a tough matchup for anybody in the state. They have a complete team 1 through 5 with young energy off the bench and chemistry throughout their lineup. This team can have a different scorer on any given night. [player_tooltip player_id='202412' first='Allie' last='Turner'] is a dynamic deep range shooter, Monet Witherspoon stays active on the glass and in transition, Moryiah Douglass/Breaunna Ward are all-around basketball players that impact in a number of ways. The team has length and athletic ability at most positions. Pressure defense is an area of the game they excel in. Marshfield is going to have to manage the game as best they can. Hillsboro was 26-2 and struggled throughout vs Burroughs. It's a team that capitalizes off turnovers. Marshfield has strong guard play and an excellent freshman in [player_tooltip player_id='803072' first='Peyton' last='Ward'] who can score easy baskets around the rim. They're also a community that travels well for games like these. Keeping the game in check and allowing momentum to build will be one of their keys to success vs. such a talented team.

Key Players: [player_tooltip player_id='302779' first='Jordan' last='Speiser'], [player_tooltip player_id='409880' first='Kennedy' last='Stowers'], [player_tooltip player_id='421821' first='Peyton' last='Wohlford'], Rylee Thompson

Role Players: [player_tooltip player_id='509639' first='Chloe' last='Reed'], Ally Auringer, [player_tooltip player_id='982953' first='Reese' last='Foster']

This is a game that will be largely determined by the play of wings and forwards. There are a number of skilled players who can shoot and have great positional size. Among the main headliners is Jordan Spesier. The 6'2 guard with a North Carolina offer is a premier player in this entire tournament. She can change the course of a game with her shooting and overall impact. [player_tooltip player_id='409880' first='Kennedy' last='Stowers'] will be the one going head to head with [player_tooltip player_id='421821' first='Peyton' last='Wohlford']. The junior is Smithville's best player and she gets their offense going. An all-around threat who can make others better around her. These teams have similar strengths and plenty of talent. It's not crazy to believe this one could come down to role players or an unsung hero. Lutheran St. Charles lost [player_tooltip player_id='493462' first='Kyrii' last='Franklin'] to injury which is unfortunate to everybody involved. The Sophomore PG is a fun player to watch and made this team better.
