Blount continues to elevate her game and let me be BLUNT about this, she’s on her way to Top 100 plus status this season and here’s part of the reasoning. She’s a “long and athletic” guard who is explosive off the dribble and acrobatic on her finishes yet her midrange is solid, she plays the passing lane and defends “on the ball”
Roberts just keeps climbing and with her mindset of “you can’t guard me” it’s fun for me to watch her operate on the court. Her first step can leave the defender cemented to the court yet her zigzagging with the ball going full speed and under control makes her a threat because she can score, dish off the dribble or thread the needle. Her pull-up jumper as well as her stop and pop are also hot !!!
Kayla Thomas
Kayla Thomas
Thomas was a pleasant surprise, yet I can always count on several teams to give me an unknown that can go, she plays for one of them. She also played on both ends of the court, her on the ball defense was solid but so was her attacking the basket and score. Body control was nice, she even finished after the lick.
Sophia Alvarez
Sophia Alvarez
Alvarez is “long and athletic”, and I love the way she fills in the blanks and does the little things that turn out to be big. She fits the profile I love to evaluate, I call it the base, but her timing to not only block shots but play the passing lane numerous times was big. She rebounded, handled the ball afterward and showed good court vision in transition, she also scored off the dribble, her HEZ was tough, and around the basket.
Kelsyn Bruce
Kelsyn Bruce
Bruce is with another club that puts talented players I probably wouldn’t ever catch but she mixed it up nicely throughout the event. She opened it up scoring off the dribble, at times defying gravity on her finishes, aka body control, plus she saw the floor very well. She then added the FLOATA over the outstretched hands of defenders yet her “catch and shoot” 3 ball JUST DID IT for me
Envy Jackson
Envy Jackson
Jackson is another athletic guard that uses her athleticism on both ends yet watching her throw blistering passes in traffic on the money got me going. She rebounded and went C2C to score or dish, that’s coast to coast yet in the set, she attacked the basket strongly and finished powerfully. She also did a good job defending “on the ball” and even blocked some shots.
Shelby Tortorici
Shelby Tortorici
Tortorici gave me a lot off the top and her pull-up jumper as well as her “stop and poppin” it in transition grabbed my attention immediately. She’s heady and understands not only how to create her shot but takes good shots yet her timing on defense to pick pockets was nice, she even played the passing lane yet later, she showed the “catch and shoot” from deep

Hall with the “power in the paint” and watching her “you won’t outwork me” mindset took me back to another era, especially when she showed the “hands and footwork” around the basket to score. Her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots was solid, so was her rebounding and running the floor, on both ends

Barras has been in the gym working on her game and when I first saw her, dropping the 3 consistently stood out a couple of seasons ago. Last year, she showed the midrange a lot, as well as attacking the basket stronger with either hand but now, her changing hands in the air to finish with the left hand had me smiling, so did her showing the “catch and shoot” from deep with a hand in her face.
Natalia Galvan Natalia Galvan 5'7" | CG Mumford | 2025 State TX

Galvan comes from a small town and her coach has historically found hidden gems, just keeping it real but her “on the ball” defense was smothering at times but she did a good job of keeping the defender guessing while creating her shot. Her deceptive first step to attack the basket was smooth yet her mid to long-range gave her options and when you factor in she saw the floor, what else? Stop and pop in transition and “catch and shoot” from deep
Cook is one of those players that finds ways to put the ball into the basket so her first step can be devastating at times because she can take the defender off the dribble and finish with either hand, yes after contact. Her body control plays a part in that yet she’s strong and can create contact. She also scores around the basket; her court vision brings in buckets yet her jumper from outside, mid to long-range can change the momentum just like that
Peiffer transferred to another school and immediately sent messages subliminally, telepathically, even Western Union yet the ones I received via text told me she was on her way to a big club season. Sometimes it appeared as if she was playing around the world dropping deep outside shots from everywhere, but her midrange was also consistent, as well as her scoring off the dribble. Factor in her seeing the floor and defending …
