SW Regionals: Top Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I had the chance to see several regional tournament games this week, and over the next couple of days I will talk about some of the players who were impressive with their game. In my first look, I review some of the guards who I thought played well. In their regional loss to Hamilton Badin, Kiera showed she can play both inside and out with solid guard skills. An outstanding finisher and gets downhill well to the rim. She is such a great backcourt with her sister who you will read about later, they made this team run smoothly. Ran into a buzz saw in the regionals, but these two are so good in the back court! I believe she is the power that keeps this motor running. Outstanding guard, smart, and is a player who is not flashy and doesn't always drop 20, but she is productive in many ways with and without the ball. She has a good confident perimeter game, but she can also put the ball on the floor and get by her defender and get to the rim. She is a solid multi positional player who can play inside or out on the perimeter.
