Continue ReadingReese swished a pair of second half threes and finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block. Murphy loads up and gets a deep knee bend on her three-point shots. She did a nice job on the glass and was able to help defend inside and out in the zone.
Model made their run in the second quarter when Segars was on the bench. Once Carley returned, her presence in the middle of the 2-3 zone stifled the Blue Devils. Segars is big and strong, looking like she has added more muscle from when I last saw her. She did a great job hitting Ryleigh Murphy Ryleigh Murphy 5’8″ | SG Banks County | 2025 State GA on flex cuts in the third quarter. Carley scored her own points on a putback, a post up and a short corner jumper. The Young Harris-signee finished with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 43-29 win.
The springy lefty had some moments in a low scoring loss. Her activity on the backboards was a positive. In the first quarter she was able to pick apart the zone from the high post, catching and hitting Sadie Raughton Sadie Raughton 5’11” | PF Model | 2025 State GA in the corner for threes. The overall size and strength of the Banks County forwards in the post affected Betz. As she gets stronger, she will be able to score more efficiently through contact. All-in-all August tallied 5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. An NAIA school in attendance came away impressed with Betz’s long-term upside.
Julia Shinholster

The red-shoed Shinholster hit a pair of threes and snagged three steals. I liked her athleticism at the guard position and the energy that she defended with. She was tasked with handling point guard duties and was able to break open the Banks zone a few times.
Part of a small-ball lineup full of talented guards, Rogers’ toughness inside is what helps Grayson topple bigger teams. Erin is extremely physical as a rebounder and excels at scoring through contact. She is a mismatch with her inside-out game and ability to hurt defenses from the mid-range. She tallied 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in a rout of McEachern.

The strongly-built freshman made an impact once pressed into duty as Latamyra Williams went down with an early knee injury. Summer was effective on the weak-side as an offensive rebounder. She got into position and once she got the ball the Rams struggled to hinder her. Edwards posted 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Summer’s strength in the paint gives her upside.
The UWash-signee scored 11 of her 16 points in the second half against Rabun County to add to her 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. The deep-ranged shooter was held to one transition three and instead found success getting downhill and drawing fouls. Morgan went 5-6 from the line and finished with both hands.
Spencer didn’t get enough post touches against Rabun County but was effective when she did. Evia has very good footwork in the low post and has a knack for getting to her turnaround jumper. She showcased a nice step through move as well. The physical forward had 10 points and 3 rebounds. I really like her upside. Her offensive game is advanced.
The sharpshooter sprayed three threes and brought her physicality to the paint as a rebounder. When Southards stays out of foul trouble and is locked in from deep, she’s a game-breaker. Ellie recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. I liked that she put the ball on the floor and attacked off the dribble in spurts to diversify her offense.
