Lakynn Granger
Lakynn Granger
Granger did a good job creating her shot under pressure and uses a deceptive first step and attack the basket. Her body control was nice on her finishes, even after contact yet her court vision both off the dribble and in the set was also a plus
Jewels Johnson
Jewels Johnson
Johnson has some serious upside because of her “poise under pressure” and not only wanting the ball down the stretch but being able to deliver. Every game I caught her she was knocking down shots, mid to long range, while being tightly defended and against older players yet her “catch and shoot” is going to create some problems. She scored off the dribble and did a good job playing the passing lane plus she has the right initials
Ja’Mya Johnson
Ja’Mya Johnson
Johnson also has the right initials because JJ brought some Good Times and she is going to be DYNOMITE starting with her being an athletic guard that understands how to use her athleticism on both ends and her “on the ball” defense was smothering at times. She dives for loose balls on the floor but her explosiveness off the dribble to score is special
Zoe Whitaker
Zoe Whitaker
Whitaker has me ready to drop that #D1Lock on her because of what she’s doing and how she’s doing it. Her reacting in certain situations while doing things instinctively, at this age, are ahead of her years and watching her dazzle me with the ball to set the defender up and attack the basket to score plus she reads the court and plays the passing lane

Rodriguez is going to have me saying “Izzy is keeping them DIZZY” for many years, well I’ve been saying it yet being heady and taking the pounding with ease have her “in the mix” for my upcoming 2028 Watchlist. She smoothly sets the defender up but her crossover as well as change of pace are a couple of things she does effortlessly to get by the defender and score, which she does after contact. She also showed the “stop and pop” from mid to long range as well as solid court vision
Madisyn McGrew
Madisyn McGrew
McGrew is already showing signs and having watched her older sister go completely off for years tells me she has been paying attention as well as working on her game. She’s another athletic guard that uses her athleticism on both ends, her defense was solid and she attacks the basket strongly yet her pull-up jumper was solid yet adding the step back to it JUST DID IT for me
Zinleigh Brown
Zinleigh Brown
Brown falls into that #sizedontmatter group I love to hashtag because she can play and one thing that immediately stood out was her not only battling for rebounds against taller players but actually outrebounding them. She’s yet another athletic guard that applied heat on both ends yet her change of direction while handling the ball under pressure to score was nice, as was her court vision
Mariah Macken
Mariah Macken
Macken had me “CRACKEN” up with her, here we go, “poise under pressure” and delivering because she has that scorers mentality which simply means she finds ways to put the ball into the basket. Her first step to attack the basket from multiple angles is nice, yet so is her scoring from outside, mid to long-range but when she showed the step back …
Karneshia Smith
Karneshia Smith
Smith was one of many athletic guards that are going to be dropped from this event yet here’s what I enjoyed, her attacking the basket powerfully and finishing off balance after the lick. Her body control is ahead of her years yet watching her zig-zag past defenders handling the ball in the open court while threading the needle going full speed is special
