I always love to tease by saying “Oklahoma Is Still OK” and that comes from me memorizing license plate slogans on various trips when I was a young lad so here ya go
Watkins has been on my radar for a very long time and speaking of radar, you almost need one to measure how far she was dropping it from BTA. I was equally impressed with how quick her release has gotten so the “catch and shoot” had me going, so did her attacking the basket strongly and finishing after contact. She also scored around the basket, putbacks included and she rebounded on both ends
Harrod had me thinking HURRAH because first of all, she’s “long and athletic” one more time, that is and always will be the base. I enjoyed her “you won’t outwork me” mindset on both ends yet her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots got me going. She rebounded, on both ends and handled the ball afterward, yet she sliced by defenders in the set to score off the dribble. Defense was solid, so was her dropping the 3 ball

Miller has me wanting to use that old slogan, well why not, it was MILLER TIME inside the paint because she did a good job hitting the boards, on both ends, as well as playing solid defense. Just as impressive was her “hands and footwork” to score around the basket, yes, after contact included and she saw the floor from the 5 position .

Boone had me go back and use the search bar to get a visual on what she was and what she is becoming and let me say this, a “nightmare to defend” is a nice phrase. She attacks the basket strongly and finishes the same way, with either hand after contact yet her “poise under pressure” by handling the ball or wanting the clutch shot had me going. Mannerisms always tell the story and I foresee her being able to take over games. Good court vision and solid defense

Rhodes popped up in the search bar as well so it was refreshing to see her adding even more to her game. The first step is very nice, so is her body control yet watching her finish after contact was solid, so was her dishing off the dribble. Her court vision in transition was also a plus, as was the heat she applied defensively
Anderson is an athletic guard that used her athleticism on both ends, whether it was “on the ball” pressure to help force turnovers, well she also played the passing lane to get the same results but her court vision definitely stood out, so did her creating her shot to either attack the basket and finish or drop the jumper
