The #4 ranked point guard in the class of 2025 committed to Oklahoma Baptist University. Jordyn will be a great addition to the Lady Bison program. Jordyn Anderson in a versatile combo guard that can play 3 positions. She is a tremendous shooter. Her best attribute is that she plays within the flow of the game. She doesn’t force things and she gets her teammates involved. She has an uncanny knack of getting out in the fast break and finishing. Terrific team player and leader.

Speed kills, and expect Anderson to be at the forefront of a speedy, athletic and tough Douglass team that will be among the 4A favorites (and best teams in Oklahoma regardless of class). She can be a table setter for teammates or score tough buckets herself. Even though she often plays at 80 miles per hour, she rarely looks out of control and understands how to switch gears to really make life hard on defenders. Anderson followed up an outstanding junior campaign by playing a key part on a talented grassroots squad that barnstormed the country to great success.

Anderson continues to look like a game changer as a fast lead guard, who can turn it on in transition. While also having the wiggle and change of direction with the ball in her hands in the halfcourt to be a consistent slashing threat. Along with the threat she represents on drives as a scorer, she showed her full court awareness often. Including a drive where she collapsed the defense, stopped and kicked it out to a teammate for an open three.

Anderson is an athletic guard that used her athleticism on both ends, whether it was “on the ball” pressure to help force turnovers, well she also played the passing lane to get the same results but her court vision definitely stood out, so did her creating her shot to either attack the basket and finish or drop the jumper

Game Watched: vs Inola, March 7th
In the Class 4A quarterfinals contest, Anderson was a great example of playing fast but not being in a hurry. When needed to, she was quick and strong attacking the hoop. Where she finished with both hands. But she also showed some great patience in letting plays develop, including a great Pick and Roll feed in the second half. The junior’s feel for the game feels advance, and just off one viewing it was easy to see why Douglass was successful this year with her pulling the strings.

Jordyn Anderson is a go getter! She handles the ball pretty well and will attack the gaps with no hesitation. She hit the open jumper and not afraid to finish at the rim through contact. Sets the pace for her team and holds her own on a talented Harding Prep team.
