, and she can score running the point, playing on the wing, or down on the block with her back to the basket. Her recent performance at the Sunshine Showdown was telling. She got down hill to the basket. Ripped to the midrange, made some nice back door cuts to the basket, and scored the basketball at a high level. Johnson was very active on the boards and a lot of times she will rebound her own miss. Johnson was equally impressive in the State Championship game. She didn’t force anything, but her efficiency in the paint was impressive and noticed. At Sunshine State showdown there were times wheee Johnson refused to be stopped and that was against elite competition. Johnson is poised and ready for what should be an exciting “Live Period”.
